Adopted my cat, Opie, from HCH and it was such a pleasant experience... especially in comparrison to the shelter I got my other cat from. HCH was clean, roomy and well equiped to house the cats in their care. The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and encouraged us to take a class on "play training" with our kitty. We've had him for 6 months now and couldn't imagine not having him. Go and adopt a new best friend!

It's a great rescue with really nice people....however they charge around $300 for one dog. This made me angry because if you are all about the dogs then why would you charge someone $300 for a dog that desperately needs a home. I understand that they only want people who can afford to keep the dogs, but even middle class families can afford to comfortably take care of a dog, but that is still a lot of money.
We adopted our labradoodle from Mill Dog Rescue. She had clearly been terribly abused in the puppy mill that she was rescued from. She has become a big part of our family and we love her so much. We are very thankful that Mill Dog Rescue is out there saving these dogs!
I recently asked an Irish Wild Hound named Winnie from here and she is super sweet, she has some anxiety issue but the friendly staff helped me understand all my options to help her. Winnie will be a lifetime friend, thank you.
We adopted out labradoodle from the rescue. These people have big hearts and are doing good work!
I like the place it is clean and cheap to get dogs and cats.
