Colonial Heights Rehabilitation Center

I have seen one resident with an unexplained black eye. I have heard of a resident left on a bedpan all night. There is some good caring staff there but they are the very young girls. The over 30's would rather talk around the nursing station. The patients are nothing but a bother and several are left in bed and not gotten up. This place needs a total over haul.

wow I have a uncle there now. I was just looking up the phone number and seen your review. It makes me sick to see what you wrote. Words can not describe what I feel for you. They are still open however. I am guessing that you could not actually prove their wrong doing. You know they are going to protect there own. When I visit him, I will keep my ears and eyes open

When I did visit him the other day his roommate was telling a nurse about something that the night nurse had did. I could not make what he was telling her. He did say what he thought her name was however. The nurse listening to him did not seem to take a big interest in what he was saying. I dont think it was my place to be nosey. When I pick up my uncle to take him home tomorrow I think that I am going to ask the man what happened because this man is on a resperator and can talk and speak very well. I do think his wife visits so on his behalf I think I need to be nosey for your father and for this man in there

We allowed our father to be cared for in this facility, because he was doing excellent after being released by the hospital for respiratory complications. We had no idea after only about a day or two he would be brain dead due to the poor care of this facility. Now my father is no longer with us and I would do anything just to hear his voice again and tell him how much I love him...
