Go to LensCrafters or EyeMasters Instead!!!
The owner of this business, Tina, was soooooo very nice. The place is very, very small, and the selection is extremely limited, in both Collierville, TN and Hickory Ridge Mall in Memphis, TN. It is very clean. But when there were problems, she would not even return my phone calls. I am totally dissatisfied with my glasses, and they do not have any other, as the selection is very small... I now have to keep them at a cost of over $400. Before, I had thin wire frames. These are bright, plastic frames with shiny metal on the inside; I can't get used to them; they are distracting. The actual lenses feel very cheap. They are impossible to clean streak-free without using a lens cleaner. At all EyeMasters and LensCrafters stores, you get a 100% UNCONDITIONAL GUARANTEE. I think Lenscrafters has a 30-day guarantee and EyeMasters is 60-days. You can return them for a full refund even if you just don't like them. The national chain of Pearle states that they have a 60-day guarantee but only to adjust, not to give money back. The problem there is that the Pearles in Memphis say they are not bound by the national ads and guarantees, cecause they are a franchisee, not a corporate store. That apparently means that they can make their own guarantees. The Memphis stores have a conditional guarantee of 30 --- not 60--- days... and then, only for adjustments... not money back.
I made the mistake of using their own Optometrist to get a new RX. I knew they weren't right and told them so before I even left. but they told me it was right. After going to my Ophthalmologist, he said neither eye was corrected right. Pearle did remake the lenses. It takes them a up to 10 days to make your glasses, and if they are special, it can take longer than 10. Those are business days not consecutive.
No matter what the price difference is, if you aren't satisfied, it's much better to have gone to Lenscrafters or EyeMasters so you can get your $$$ back if it's not right. I also know that from experience, the lenses they use are of highest quality. I can't say that for Pearle Vision in Collierville, TN or Hickory Ridge in Memphis, TN.
