- Dr. Kaushal Shah earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland Dental School where she completed a senior clerkship in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Shah went on to complete a general practice residency at the VA Medical Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Here, she completed extensive training in cosmetic, periodontics, and dental implant restorations. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Maryland, College Park. She is fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati. Dr. Shah loves helping patients with their dental needs and considers it as the most gratifying part of her job. She has special interests in cosmetic, laser and implant dentistry. Dr. Shah takes pride in offering advanced and customized treatments to her patients by staying current through continuing education seminars. This has led her to exceed the state's requirements for continuing education. Dr. Shah is a member of the American Dental Association, PA Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Laser Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. In her free time, Dr. Shah enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family and running.

Provided by Doctor.comI am a difficult patient. But, Dr. Shah is very helpful. I have a lot of anxiety and they have so many things in place to put their patients at ease. They have TV's, bluetooth headphones hooked up to an ipad with pandora, and massage dental chairs. It is all effective in distracting me from my anxieties. Dr. Shah is the best dentist I have ever had. Priya and Brittany in the front are also very helpful and funny! They also have multiple ways to help patients financially, as far as, if you have no insurance or you have expensive copays.

Provided by Doctor.comDr. Shah is outstanding. She makes you feel very comfortable and takes the time to explain everything she is doing, so you are knowledgeable and comfortable with any procedures. She remembers your name and exactly what you had done. An excellent doctor who really take the time to spend with you. It is evident how much she cares about her patients.
