Overall

What a fantastic friendly crew! Exceptionally courteous and competent at what they do. My only grudge however, is the crown. Make sure your crown is sent out to an outside lab rather than produced in-house. Crowns produced in-house has habit of falling out prematurely from my experience. I think the reason for that is because the top of the crown produced in-house is just too flat, causing vacuum (suction) whenever you chew food. My theory is that the crowns made from outside lab has grooves and ridges just like natural teeth (and in exact same shape), allowing pockets of trapped air to come between your teeth and food, preventing suction effect during chewing.

Another factor to consider is that the irregular shape of the crown's biting surface helps with grinding food thus requiring less downward force compare to the flat in-house crown. But all in all, Colchester Family Dentistry have been good to me and they have my loyalty.

Overall
Disappointed

I can't tell you how their service is because I wasn't even allowed to have an appointment! When I first called this office, I was given an appointment FOUR MONTHS in advance. I tried to reschedule my "New Patient" appointment, due to something unexpected, a week in advance and I was informed that "they don't do that." The reason they don't reschedule new patient appointments is because "the people that reschedule their first appointment usually reschedule their second and fourth appointments." So I was basically stereotyped as an "appointment canceller" by their office and was not allowed to have another appointment. If you can predict what's going to happen four months from now, go ahead and schedule an appointment with this office. If not, stay away.
