I have had back problems since my teens, and a more recent back injury made it a lot worse. I also have arthritis. Dr. Dirks suggested injections for me, which I was reluctant to get because I get really scared and they haven't worked for me in the past. His injections are in a totally different place than the injections I've had before, and they have helped so much! He is very nice, easy to talk to, and I believe he sincerely cares about his patients. He also performed a large surgery on my mom's back and she is doing awesome. His staff is very nice, I highly recommend!

I had my surgery in Dec 2011, had L4 AND L5 fused. Everyone in the office was very professinal and courteous.You could not ask for a better Dr. than Dr. Dirks . He was very helpful in giving me all the information I needed to make the choice to have the surgery done. He and all his staff were very kind and respectfull to me and my husband. I would and have recommended Dr. Dirks to people I know that have back problems.I want to say thank you to Dr. Dirks for treating me so well.

i have had back problems the majority of my life, it landed me in the hospital a couple weeks ago, and I called to get the results of the MRI i took, and they called me back and REFUSED to give me the results even tho the doctor already reviewed them, forcing me to go and get the results from the hospital. Then I called them back about the appointment i had made and the woman at the front was EXTREMELY rude, i have never been treated like that by a doctors office in my life. People go to doctors because something wrong, and to get a really bad attitude from someone who is suppose to treat patients with respect is outrageous, and to TOP IT OFF the woman HUNG UP ON ME, ON PURPOSE. I would not recommend this doctor to ANYONE, I heard bad things about them, but I didnt want to believe it til i got the treatment first hand. HORRIBLE, and now im stuck in pain until I can get in to another neurosurgeon. VERY RUDE PEOPLE, DISRESPECTFUL, I WOULD NOT recommend anyone become a patient of this doctor.

stay away from this doctor. he's a butcher. two failed surgerys from him, he is not nice, ruined my life, on top of a serious drinking problem
