I am extremely excited to see this restaurnat open as something new! The menu was small and not confusing. I have been in for lunch three times since opening and I plan on going atleast twice a week, time providing. The food prices are all under $15 it seems. The food is clean and not complex. A nice change of pace. I ordered the Shrimp Penne my first visit and it was mouth watering. My second time I ordered the Salmon Cakes as an appetizer with a Turkey Sandwich. The salmon was cooked perfect. The turkey sandwich looked great and tasted even better. And let me tell you about their french fries. Addictive! My 3rd visit I had to get the Penne again because it was so good the first time. This place is true Cleveland food for thw working stiff like myself, won't break your wallet and is a quiet spot with some class. Pretty cool watching the chef's cook your food in the kicthen in front of you. Has a stage like atmospehere. A must try!
I rode with co-workers to pick up lunch. They opted for chinese food in the mall, but I called in my order for a Polish Boy with "the works" (coleslaw, french fries and sauce). We dropped them off at the nearby mall, then went to pick up my sandwich and came back to the mall. While waiting for them to come out, I started to eat my sandwich. Well, needless to say I almost got mugged on my way back to the office by my co-workers. The aroma filled the entire car. I was almost finished with my sandwich by the time we returned to the office. "We're being tortured by your polish boy sandwich- so we're going to have polish boys for lunch tomorrow because your sandwich looked and smelled soooo good!" I'll probably do the same again myself....keep up the good work.....J. This is the best new joint in downtown. Mood of the place is excellent. I love a kitchen where you can seek the cooks cook and i love to see the cooks back there working and flames shooting up: more places should do this,. That damn pulled pork sammy was like a tower! Best in the city, maybe best in Ohio. Not burnt meat done just right. The old lady got the salmon salad with some dressing i never had before in my life. i could dirnk the dressing straight from the glass. parking was free too so you mix that in with a cheap bill and I know where my favorite new joint is. one problem: I'd love for them to be open for the tribe and cavs games so i could grab food before the game. they close way too early
