Parma Community General Hospital is a successful, independent, not-for-profit, community hospital in Cuyahoga County. Founded in 1961, Parma Hospital now has 348-beds with a medical staff of over 500 physicians in more than 30 specialties and a comprehensive campus of services.
Accredited by the Joint Commission, Parma Hospital offers acute and subacute inpatient care including specialty centers for heart, cancer, orthopedics, pain management, acute rehabilitation and bariatric care.
A wide range of outpatient and outreach programs serve the community and support our community hospital model. Radiology, physical therapy, laboratory and quick clinic services are readily available as are home health care, hospice, adult day care, screenings and educational programs. A technologically advanced health care facility, Parma Hospital has had computerized patient records since 1996 and electronic medication verification since 2006.

Parma Community General Hospital prides itself on providing a friendly, healing environment for our patients and visitors. We know that the presence of family and friends aids in recovery, so our visiting hours are generally flexible to give patients the maximum benefit of time with loved ones.
We also want to extend access to patients who may need assistance in reaching the hospital. We offer free parking to all patients and visitors, and a Home Run Van service to help those without others means of transportation reach us for scheduled appointments within the Hospital. Volunteers are available at the information desk in the Main Lobby to direct you once you reach the Hospital, and a courtesy phone is right next to the desk to call a patient's room in advance of your arrival.
