The Mayfield Village Fire Department provides various fire prevention, protection and emergency medical services. The fire department is comprised of several full- and part-time members. Its firefighters are certified as paramedics and emergency medical technicians. The Mayfield Village Fire Department is responsible for providing education to the public and school children on fire and life safety, as well as baby car seat installation. The fire department also sells bicycle helmets to the public. Additionally, it conducts several classes on fire extinguisher use with industrial fire brigades. The Mayfield Village Fire Department offers counseling to students interested to make a career as a firefighter or emergency medical technician through the Mayfield High School Senior Search Program.
