Fire Plug Dog & Cat Grooming & Boarding

This establishment assured me they were experienced grooming large breed dogs. My healthy 150# great pyr walked in on all 4s wagging his tail. He left unable to stand. They told me he was stressed from many hrs of grooming. Three days later he is unable to pick himself up. Dissatisfied is an under statement.

We have been taking our two Bijons there about a half a dozen times over the past year and a half.. The grooming started out great but has been going downhill. The first few times the dogs looked great and were very happy upon return. The last couple of times have been not as good. Last time the male dog had a very uneven haircut, the female was still dirty under her chin, they had the fragrance sprayed on them we specifically asked them not to use, we were charged an extra fee for teeth cleaning when I specifically asked if it was included in the package and was told yes, and the dogs haircut was much shorter on their noses when I asked them to leave them longer. I am not sure if someone new was there or not, but we are reconsidering our return there. I have read some re v iews for other places and so far those sound scary as well. I may return again to try to give them another chance but if something else happens that will be the last time we go there.
