We purchased a GE Cafe refrigerator from Interstate Kitchen Supply 2 years ago. Recently we noticed water collection on the bottom floor of the refrigerator. The technician found the reason, the drain pan was substantially rusted and corroded which created a hole that leaked the water. This is a considerable defficiency for only 2 years old refrigerator. We wanted to pass this problem to a heigher level GE official to express our great disappointment of the GE products. We send email and GE called us back and to our shock they said the refrigerator is manufactured in 2008 which we were not aware of till now. The sales person at the store did not disclose the fact that she is selling us a 6 years old refrigerator, so according to GE this rust and corrosion could have started in that store long before it was delivered to our house. We are still looking for an explanation for such a defficiency which is a health hazardhas. Our recent findings suggests that this deficiency has been detected by several other customers. Thanks to the store representative of interstate kitchen supply, she has been helpful and cooperative to share with us the extent of this problem. She claimed that the store was not aware of the refrigerator shelf life and she took responsibility of replacing it.
Tucked away a few blocks west of the Cleveland Clinic, you won't find any of the usual flash and presentation you would expect from a chain box retailer, but the bargain is there if you want a reliable used appliance without the logistics of finding that buddy with a pick-up truck available at the last minute to help haul a 200+ lbs. machine out of a basement. They're located in an old rundown brick building and the entrance is just a side door with no windows. Yet from the moment we walked in the salesperson was friendly and informative, the appliances were neatly arranged on the floor, and we were treated with respect and honesty. The item we wanted, a washer, with delivery was just over $200 dollars, and removal of the old washer free. They were even able to deliver it on the same day, install it, and it came with a six month warranty! (Try to get those conditions from a college student who has to move out in two days). So far, the washer works great. In short, if you care more about saving money and time than what the store looks like, you don't need something brand new, and you want terrific service at an excellent price: this place should be on your short list for appliances.
Our first contact with the company was great, richard was very upfront and asked a few questions before letting us schedule an appointment. He actually seemed to show a interest in getting comfortable with our washer and asked us to check to see if the water valves were on, and if it was plugged in. And believe it or not the cold water was off and thats why the washer wasn't working. Thanks Metro Appliance for walking me through an easy way to save me a service call . The next time a repair is needed there is no one i would rather call than you. John (Garfield Hts.)
I recently called Family Appliance about our leaky washing machine and had a great experience because Mike: Arrived within specified appointment window. Was friendly and courteous. Took the time to accurately diagnose the issue. Discussed our options based on his findings. Provided honest advice on how to proceed. His free estimate was really free. I would recommend Family Appliance to anyone requiring appliance diagnostics and/or repair.
The service was good price was affordable the problems i encountered were the time of delivery i bought the appliances around 1 pm and didnt get them until almost 8pm. The dryer worked thru a load and a half before cutting off. Called for service opening time next day was told someone would come out but no one came. Called the next day was told someone would come out but no one came. So pissed off and its the weekend uuuggghhh!!!
I called to schedule a service call for my 5 year old Refrigerator. The owner of this business suggested that I try something before having him come out. It worked and he saved me a minimum of the cost of a service call. I would trust this business and will call them again before I call the "big guys" with 800 numbers and no real people to speak with!
I found the staff of Snow Bros Appliance to be very helpful and engaging. They were kind and patient and informed me of how the ohio Appliance rebate plan worked. They recomended that I register for the rebate while I made a decision and they show what products qualified and which ones did not.
We've bought from Sears, Circuit City, Best Buy and H.H. Gregg -- never Snow Brothers. But now that we've seen their prices (lower), the expertise and professionalism of their sales staff (knowledgeable but not pushy), and the overall operation, we'd never go anywhere else!
I bought a refrigerator and stove from AAA Appliances and they were wonderful they went by policy I received my appliances on time the workers were very careful and friendly and the appliances were in more than decent condition and very affordable
Mr. Sprouse was very professional and knowledgeable and resolved the appliance issues in a very timely manner. I would recommend his service to anyone looking for quality service at a fair price.
