Overall

Mt. Yonah Animal Hospital is the best veterinary hospital in North Georgia, hands down. It's basically the "one stop shop" for all of your pets' needs, handling everything from a minor illness or injury to major surgery or even pet emergencies; they have a fantastic groomer, they have very nice kennel facilities for boarding. The front desk staff greet your pet by name (and usually with a hug or scratch on the back!), the vet techs are super friendly and patient with the animals, and Dr. Eddleman's quality of service cannot be beat.

One thing that stands out about Dr. Eddleman's service is that she isn't going to just shove a pill down your pet's throat or immediately suggest surgery - we've all been to vets who like to "pad the bill" by suggesting costly meds or surgeries right off the bat. Dr. Eddleman takes a different approach; she actually prefers to go the less-invasive (and less costly) route of changing diet or adding an herbal supplement to the pet's daily routine, and only prescribes medicine or surgery when it is absolutely necessary. I appreciate that approach since I have multiple pets! And whatever Dr. Eddleman recommends for your pet is right there in the office; they keep a fantastic stock of herbal supplements, toys, flea/tick treatments, medications, and an extensive variety of food for a wide range of dietary needs.

Another thing I love about Mt. Yonah Animal Hospital is that the facility is brand spanking new, so everything is "state of the art". And it's obvious the staff keep everything super clean and shiny throughout the day; I have never seen a vet office with such clean, fur-free floors, windows, and kennel facilities! The staff clearly care about keeping the hospital sanitized.

If you're in the Cleveland, Helen, Sautee Nacoochee, Clarkesville, or Dahlonega area and you're looking for someone who will give your pets the best care available, your search is over - it's Dr. Eddleman and the amazing staff at Mt. Yonah Animal Hospital in Cleveland, GA.

Dr. Eddleman is an integrative, proactive wellness veterinarian with a highly trained staff which genuinely cares about your pet(s), as well as, you personally. Her practice is a state of the art facility with all offerings on site; meeting and exceeding any expectations you could ever seek in a veterinary practice!

Upon entering the practice you immediately notice the attention to detail and thought put forth to make all calming, compassionate, and nurturing not only for your pet, but for you as well!

As a member of the Mt. Yonah family, you will receive educational e-mailings pertaining to keeping your pet(s) healthy and stress free throughout their lives, as well as, updates for special care around holidays which are not only stressful for humans, but our pet(s) as well.

Her website also offers preventative educational information enabling us to become better caregivers ourselves by helping us to identify and remove any lifestyle obstacles before disease or injury may occur.

Choosing a veterinarian for your paws, claws, and varmints is as important as choosing a personal long term family practitioner. Dr. Eddleman and her staff at Mt. Yonah are the veterinary practice for the lifelong paramount care of our precious loved ones!

The welcome mat is out and waiting on your paws!

Overall

This is a top notch new vet in Cleveland, GA. Caring and attentive staff, with a doctor who is an absolute pro at diagnosing both the mundane and the rare problem. The clinic has the ability to run lab work in house, which is nice if you want or need an immediate answer about your fur baby's health. Rooms are spotless, and instead of making you hoist your pet onto one of those cold, nasty steel tables, Dr. E gets down on the animal's level to check things out. The practice carries a full line of prescription food, and has been super accommodating in helping us find the best price for a very expensive medication that must be specially compounded and shipped from out of state for our pup. I have owned animals for my entire adult life (and I am a middle aged adult). This practice is by far the best I have ever encountered, both in Cleveland and in the much larger city from which we moved. If you love your critters and consider them a part of your family, this is the place to take them. You will be happy you did.
