Mama Dee's Jamaican and Soul Food Restaurant

Me and my wife had dinner at Mama Dee's, listen up it was all that! OUTSTANDING!! if you want a variety of good old fashion soul food check out MAMA DEE'S!!! you won't regret it!!! Will and Pam W.

This was THE WORST EXPERIENCE I've ever had as a customer in any establishment. The owner who's name I'm not certain of and another worker treated a friend and I so poorly I almost felt as if I was in the twilight zone because I was in such disbelief. I purchased a jerk chicken entree (for $12.00) and did not care for it because it tasted like spicy bbq chicken (which traditional jerk chicken is not made with bbq sauce). I returned to the restaurant to inform the owner and she proceeded to become argumentative and question me about why I didn't like the chicken. After explaining to her that this did not taste like traditional jerk chicken, she informed me every place is different and you wouldn't go to McDonald's and expect to get a Burger King burger...I couldn't believe my ears!!! I've never had such poor customer service. She and the other worker argued us down for 30 minutes before agreeing to exchange my food for something else. Scolding me about how I should respect my elders and implying that we were sent there by a competitor to harass them!!!.... I couldn't get out of that place fast enough! I guess that's the last time I'll ever request to exchange my meal for something more favorable. Needless to say I'll never be dining there again by choice, although the owner told me she never wanted me to come back and didn't want my business. Unreal!!! Do not dine here if you can help it!
