Indoors; pets enjoy 3000 square feet air conditioned and heated great room. Outdoors; over an acre of safe, double fenced, park awaits. We provide hours of fun for your best friend.

Day, Night, Stay, or Just Play...Texas Tails Pet Ranch Is A Home Away from Home! Cleburne has some new folks,Patsy & Garey Kirk, in town and they are settling into their new business, Texas Tails Pet Ranch. Originally from Fort Worth,Texas; we are excited to join this community and surrounding areas; to share our love, caring and professionalism as animal lovers with your favorite, furry little friends. Fresh from a tenure at their lake house in East Texas, the Kirks found this opportunity in Cleburne and immediately fell in love with the area and the pet ranch. Garey is retired from the Fort Worth Fire Department, he was a paramedic and a well-respected Captain. "Yes! Captain Kirk!" He’s also a proud Aggie and an Aggie Dad to two sons. In fact, much of extended Kirk family bleeds maroon! Patsy is thrilled to have roots in our community. Her great grandparents, pioneers in the Keene community, helped start Southwestern Adventist University. Her great grandmother even brought her home grown produce to sell at market in Cleburne. They have two sons, Brian and John, who are married with and have blessed her 5 wonderful, grandchildren to date. Their daughter, Jennifer Orcutt, resides in Granbury. Jennifer, her husband and their three beautiful children enjoy being very involved in their community. So, how did they get to Cleburne? Married for 46 years, they just can’t seem to stay retired. Their Tall Timbers Ranch, in Hawkins; has kept them busy raising miniature donkeys and Papillon dogs. They have been actively showing their Papillons for a number of years, with many placing as Grand Champions. When the opportunity arose to become owners of a pet resort,they jumped on it. Having many years of experience with many different breeds; Texas Tails Pet Ranch allows them the ability to to give your pets the “away from home” treatmentyou can depend on. The ranch features a 3000 square foot "dog house", which is both air conditioned and heated. You have probably driven by the red metal building and wondered what it was. The Kirk’s have brought it back to life. There are 30 condos leaving lots of indoor play space with over- sized covered porches, plus an acre to run on outside. Their goal is for their clients to know that their four legged family members are having a vacation too! Clients will love their guilt-free, CAGE-FREE, and fun alternative to conventional boarding. The concept is to offer premium service to all their guests.A safe, clean, comfortable, home-like environment including sofas, chairs and even a television. All guests enjoy freedom, human and canine interaction, treats and can play all day long. They can even arrange for families with multiple pets to sleep together if requested. In fact, they will handle other customer individual needs by request as well.

We are located on E FM 4, only 5 miles from downtown Cleburne, near Sand Flats. Convenient access to I 35E and Hwy 67. We serve the communities of Cleburne, Grandview, Burleson, Joshua, Granbury, Glen Rose, Keene, Alvarado and the surrounding areas. We offer easy access with ample parking.

“Our goal is to serve the community’s pet needs." Typical services, like dog/cat boarding and grooming, are just the beginning. Extra services include: pick up and delivery, and doggie day care. Our future plans will add training as well as "a self service dog wash.” They provide a retail line of health treats including Pet Deli and Real Meat. Only the best of the best for their guests! Living on the premises, gives the advantage of offering a home environment, as well as allowing their guests to be treated like royality. We also wanted to make the business as flexible as possible and being nearby on premise will allow us to have Sunday pick-ups and early drop-offs – something many of our clients really appreciate.” As proud new members of the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce, the Kirks and Texas Tails Pet Ranch hope to become a valued asset for the community.
