I am a service professional in the area and often stop in for lunch. I have eaten at this restaurant over 25 times since 2008 and after their recent renovation it is better than ever. food selection is great, services is as expected in a buffet style restaurant. The new sushi bar is fantastic and you just can't complain for the price.

don't let the haters steer you clear of this fine place. The quality of the food at the price they charge is awesome.
VERY RUDE OWNERS , THEY DON;T GREET , OR SMILE TO CUSTOMERS , THEY TALK TO US LIKE THEY WE NEED THEM MORE THAN THEY NEED OUR BUSINESS , THEY SIT YOU DOWN WITH AN ATITUDE \r
RUSH YOU TO PAY YOU LEAVE AND THE OWNER JUST KEEPS LOOKING AT YOU WITH OUT SAYING A WORD , WE WENT TO PAY AND TOLD HIM WE HAD WATER ONLY , DIDN'T BELIEVE US AND LOOKED AT THE TABLE 3 TIMES , AT ALL THE CUPS ON THE TABLE , WE SHOULD/T GIVE THEM OUR BUSINESS AND SEE HOW WILL DO WITHOUT
I went there tonight, the food was not the best I have had at a buffet. The new layout is nice, but there was a strong smell It was like the place needed ventilation. From the different type of dishes. What I taste was very mediocre at best. The rice was O.K. I went to get some almond cookies as usually you cant go wrong with that. But these were rancid and I reported twice but no attention was given to it. I wont be back.
Based on a prior review, I was concerned about going back to OSB after it reopened. But as we too have gone there for years, we gave it a try. Well, you cannot believe everything you read! The food is better than ever. My husband loves sushi and their choices met his high standards. The service was flawless. The price is still very reasonable. The new front water feature was beautiful and calming. The new food displays are very bright and appealing. All in all, a great experience.
We have been going to OSB for years, and looked forward to the re-opening post remodel. Our first visit was great. The sushi was much better, and the interior was very nice. Today we went for sunday dinner. First thing we were told was they were serving dinner. We were there for an hour and they were not busy. No spicy tuna rolls. Half the sushi bar slots were empty. No more crab is being offered on the hot bar. Yet the price has gone up. The wait staff was lukewarm at best. Not only will we not go back,I will tell everyone to go to chopsticks @ 19 and countryside for the same price, and better food. Shame, because We used to love OSB, but we won't go back.
I've been going to this place since they first opened. They food and service has always been good, but the place itself has been average and very asian buffetish. WELL NOT ANYMORE! ... WHAT A CHANGE! .... I LOVE THE NEW LOOK! .... SAME GREAT FOOD & SERVICE BUT A WHOLE NEW LOOK! .... WOW! ... VERY MIAMI/CALI ..... It very modern and chic. It beats all the other Asian Buffets in Tampa Bay by far. It's the same owner with same great service just more to offer. Fresh sushi, mongolian grill, and more. LOVE IT! ... THE BEST!
As far as oriental buffets go its an oriental buffet. Went there several times as it was a friends favorite. All I can say is the last time we went there all 5 of us got sick. I have a pennant for sea food and as such will get seafood poisoned from time to time. This time was the worst in almost 50 years. 36 hours of full blown basin/bowl action with cramps, hot/cold and the works. Was so sick I probably should have been hospitalized.
New to town, my family has been looking out for places to eat and relying somewhat on our Garmin when we want a specific type of food. This process recently lead us to this particular restaurant.

When we pulled up, we were a little unsure as we were looking for a 'Super Buffet' and this seemed small, but we wandered in anyway. After being seated we went straight to checking out the buffet. It did turn out to be a smaller selection than other places we have been in the past, but the majority of the food was very fresh and tasted great. We also liked that there were items that were somewhat unique, giving us specific reasons to drop in again.

On the down side, they did not seem to have a mongolian bbq/hibachi grill as many others now do where you can choose your own items and have them prepared fresh and the sushi was rather one dimensional. I think that if they were to upgrade their sushi offerings or add in a while you wait style grill (or both) this buffet would be a 5 star winner for me, despite the small size.
