The only reason I'm giving this salon one star is because I like the color of my hair. After leaving Las Vegas and moving to UT, I set out to find someone I could trust to cut/color my hair. After reading through reviews on Yelp and YP, I decided to give this location a shot. I contacted the salon and set up an appointment time. Unfortunately, when I showed up at the salon, they couldn't find my appointment time and told me to have a seat while they tried to get everything sorted out. The place was completely packed which could mean either it's a popular location or they have horrible time management skills. I waited in limbo for 45 minutes without anyone saying a word to me despite my attempts to find out if the appointment issue had been settled. Just when I was about to walk out, someone came up to me and asked who I was there to see. Honestly, I had no idea since no one had told me anything or kept me updated. She told me that my stylist would be up in a few minutes after finishing up with someone else. As annoyed as I was at this point, I decided not to walk out because this cut/color was needed. When the stylist came out, she introduced herself and took me back, asked what we were doing, showed me the color we were to use, and never said another word. I was left under the dryer with color in my hair for another 50 minutes without anyone acknowledging my presence. Finally, she came back, rinsed/washed my hair and set out to finish up the cut/style. The only other question that was asked was “Do you want your hair straight or curled? It takes the same amount of time either way.” As previously stated, the ONLY reason I give this location one star is because of the color. Customer service is severely lacking at this salon.

I gave this salon a three star because I like the cuts that I have gotten at this salon but each hair dresser charges differently and upon my last visit it was as if the girl just made up a number after my cut. I have been to the salon over 4 times and always been charged around $25 this time I called in got a girl and she charged me $35 for a trim and style. I could understand if I was doing something dramatic like the first time I visited where I chopped off 18" but this time it was a trim and I was charged more. I called the salon and was told each hair dresser charges from $21 and up for and adult cut and anywhere from $12 and up for a child. I really don't like paying more for a hair dresser that wasn't as skilled plus a tip altogether $40 for a trim seems to high to me. So make sure you ask what the hair dresser charges before setting an appointment.

This place is amazing! The girls who work here know what they are doing! I have always loved the way I look when I walk out. Mild to Wild is a fun place to detox and enjoy the staff. The nail ladies are great and do a wonderful job and the stylist are all awesome! If you have ever thought about cheking them out.. DO... ONCE YOU GO HERE... YOU'LL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE! I recently moved out of state and now I plan my visits back around my hair appointment here! Thanks Lisa, and all the awesome girls of Mild to Wild. I don't know what I would do without you!
