Soon after moving in with my boyfriend we decided we needed to renovate our basement before it got worse...it had been gutted to the studs in most places and there was black mold on the insulation and drywall that was left. My father is a contractor out of state and I knew exactly how I wanted it to turn out, and may be more skeptical than most. I called around and had a few other construction companies come to give estimates those who actually came out for the scheduled appointment were unprofessional and never even called back with the estimate. Finally I called Hudson, Jesse came out, next day and spent time walking through everything we wanted done. We talked about everything, raising ceilings, broadening doorways, adding a closet to the bedroom, reinforcing doorways, etc. He was honest and told me about potential problems and we trouble shot most everything. We scheduled the project and it was completed within 3 weeks. We added on several small tasks throughout the construction and it was still completed within a few days of his projected date. We decided to finish the bedroom and redoing several walls to completely destroy the mold problem. Jesse even sprayed bleach one night to make sure it was treated on the studs. They reinforced the wall so we could mount our TV with no concern, built in a place to house our electronics that is also accessible from the bedroom closet. Through the project they found some structural issues with the house but always came to me and we discussed options and what would be best and he completed it all on time. The whole process ran great, it was a custom basement remodel, and we truly felt as if it was custom treatment as well. The process was so quick and turned out perfect, even despite all of our additions and changes! We plan to use Hudson Construction for more projects in the future and have discussed building our next house with Jesse. I recommend Hudson Construction to anyone looking for an affordable, easy contracting experience for projects large and small.

I would like to take this opportunity to respond to the review from "truthseeker69" regarding their experience with TMS Contracting, LLC. It saddens me when I read information that is inaccurate or squed and also based on one individual's opinion. It goes without saying, but to inform those who have yet to become acquainted with TMS Contracting, LLC, I state the following...TMS Contracting, LLC had established a long standing professional, ethical and palatable approach to each aspect of the construction industry. TMS Contracting, LLC understands the intrinsic value of its employees, clients and community partners. TMS Contracting, LLC has a positive regional/national reputation that is easily accessible to those within the construction industry and those within the area it serves. In a time/culture where information is seen as fact only because of the venue or the intensity in which the information is presented there must be a source to see the truth. If you the readers are truly interested in the truth just to the following...when you see a TMS Contracting, LLC sign, stop and ask someone within the organization or on the job site "What do you think of this company?". I know you will find the same "truth" I did. TMS Contracting, LLC is a fine company trying to make a positive difference in the community it serves.
Anyone that thinks they can get better food at applebees or chilis for cheaper is full of hot air. I have been eating at both of them and have gotten absolutely tired of them. My wife always gets the Cajun pasta at applebees which is always bland and uninspired. She ordered the same dish at Cheddars and I was absoloutely impressed that it had some actual Cajun flavor. It was awesome. She didn't have to pay extra for the sauce that came on it either. I ordered the 1/2 lb BBQ burger (don't remember the actual name) The burger was awesome and I didn't have to pay extra for the BBQ ranch sauce on the side. The rice and beans on the side did cost 2 bucks and I was very much happy with the flavor even though the size was not consistent with the price. The bowl it was served in was very small in my opinion. But in defense of Cheddars, The server did tell me he did not recommend the beans and rice because it was a little small. I ordered it so it was my fault. My wife and I eat early in the evening so we miss some crowds but we will gladly wait 30-40 minutes to dine here again. I have only heard good things about the chicken and waffles so we will see. Don't believe the bad hype it really is a great place to eat.
