My wife and i decided to try this place because we had a $10 entertainment book coupon and we like ribs which is their specialty. Janice Okun in the news rated this place highly so we decided to try it. MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!!! First off the place is dumpy. Sometimes places such as this serve good food but not this place. My wife ordered a fish and I ordered a full Rack of ribs. The ribs were terrible! I had better ribs at Applebees of all places? When we asked for the check we informed the waitress that we had an entertainment card but she claimed the fish fry is not considered a dinner so the entertainment card was not valid? My son ordered a cheeseburger and the roll fell apart as he ate half of it. The roll was ages old! After paying the bill I was very disappointed. I normally don't waste my time like this but I can't stand when I go out to dinner and it is a major disappointment. Don't waste your time or money on this place because you will not be happy. If you want a broiled/baked fish go to the Pine Lounge in Cowlesville of on Clinton Street. Similar place in design but the food is awesome! By the way...Janice Okun should not be so excited about this place. Who knows maybe she knows someone who owns this place or she got an evening away from Burger King. At least Burger King honors their coupons!

I go out to eat a lot and generally can tolerate marginal food preparation, slow service, etc. However, I can;t stand it when the food you were just served is cold (I send french fries back at fast food restaurants if they are cold)
My wife an I ordered pulled pork and chicken platters for takeout to eat in the Clarence town Park. No forks or napkins in the bag and, when I arrived, the food was already bagged up behind the bar. As you might expect, the food was cold. Not what I would expect for $14.00 a dinner.
The pulled pork was ""adequate"", but was cold. The chicken tasted like I baked it at home with no seasoning and then cut it up and mixed it in BBQ sauce. The ""salad"" that came with my dinner tasted no better than one I might pour out of a bag when I am in a real hurry.
Two thumbs down, way down. Drive into the city (and save some money you would otherwise be wasting doing it) and go to Fat Bob's. In the end, you'll be a lot happier.
Valley Inn has TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. My husband and I just went there for lunch with our $25 Dining Deals certificate and they refused to accepted it. They said people were reproducing them. We told them that we paid for the certificate and that we had no money to pay cash and my husband said that we would leave our name, address and phone number until they worked this out with Dining Deals. They said they were going to call the Sheriff and went to do so. We ended up charging the $29 to a credit card, after being called cheaters and being totally humiliated that they were going to have us arrested.
In our car we remember our whole sandwich which we had left inside in all the embarrassment and I went back and in the two minutes we were gone they threw out our sandwich. When I asked to be reimbursed for the sandwich the owner's son (bartender) smirked at me and told me to get out.
Our lunch cost us $29.00 (plus a wasted certificate)and our sandwich we would have had for dinner!
Valley Inn should not agree to join the Dining Deals if they do not wish to honor the certificates because they feel too many people had certificates - and then to threaten to call the Sheriff on innocent people! At least, they should have posted a sign that said they were not accepting the certificates so as to avoid embarrassing customers.

This restaurant I definetly would not recommend. The menu was not very clear and understandable. The french onion soup was not the greatess and not worth the money. I feel that the dinners were prices too high for what you received. Dinners did not look appetizing at all.
The only thing that I can say nice is that we had a very understanding waitress.
The mens room had a very bad leak and was very dirty along with the ladies room.
I give this restaurant a 0 rating.
