Good food! Good portions! Our favorite mexican food place!
Food is good, but portion's are small...I bought a super burrito for 11 dollars and some change, and there was nothing "super" about it! I rate
the service as SLOOOOW!

I love the food. It is always fantastic. For some reason after you get your food they will forget about you though. I have had to ask for my bill twice!! I rave about the food, but no guarantees about the service you will get.

The beans and the rice are awesome! Ive had some of their other entrees as well and like them. They also have a food delivery program through Food To You when I am unable to travel to get my food, but its a nominal charge and nothing too expensive. My mother and I ate there forever, before Felipes moved to where they are now (they used to be across the street in a smaller building way back in the day) Overall this place is a good place to take your family and the prices are really reasonable.

We were getting bored of the same old places and wanted to try someplace new so I did a search and read great things about Felipe's. My husband and I love mexican food and were very impressed. We didn't have to wait for a table and were seated right away. The service was prompt and friendly, all of which is important to us because we don't go out very often, so when we do we like to have an enjoyable experience. Bad service is a deal breaker for me but there were no worries here. The food was amazing. I loved the tamale because it was flavorful and moist. The cheese enchilada was also good, very gooey and wonderful. I can't say anything bad about the food because it was all great. The decor of the restaurant was lacking some; very basic and nothing special. But if I had to choose between great food and good atmosphere, I'll take the food. We'll definitely be back for more!

Chile Verde cannot be beat, Awesome Tacos, Darn good Tamales, OK Chicken Mole, Chimichangas to be savored and then devoured. Best hole in the wall Mexican restaurant in town, and I have been around a long time, the only place better has been defunct for 15 years.

I love felipes they are a great resturant with friendly employees. I think its fun because everyone remembers there regulars. I think that it is nice that even on the busyiest days that you are sat withen 15 to 20 minutes. Unless you are a big party. lol. Besides that for being a whole in the wall its a great place to come and enjoy your time.

We've eaten here for 14 years, enjoyed it everytime. Every Christmas we order a dozen of their tamales. Wow, they are so good. I order their salsa and chips to go if I don't have time to enjoy a meal. Lunch or dinner is wonderful and the prices are good.

The TV show Cheers says it all. We love to walk in and immediately get seated at our favorite table without having to ask (if it's available, of course) . My husband and I dined one night without taking the kids and our server asked about them and how they were doing. I love guac with my chips; they bring it out without me having to ask. The food is flavorful, attractive and always hot! We love our little piece of Mexican heaven!

Alot as we love the food here. are only concern is that our service is always crappy. Most of the servers are abt 16 years old and have no clue what they are doing. Best idea is to get it to go. WE have been doing this for a while and it works great !

Felipe's is and will always be my favorite Mexican restaurant in Sacramento-anywhere actually. The food is consistently wonderful and the service staff is atentive and friendly. It's not on the best street in town but it is so worth it!

This restaraunt by far has the best mexican food in the area. And the value and proportions are incredible. Dont get the nacho's unless you have a partner. The enviroment is great with live music. Overall this restaraunt is definitely worth your time and money over and over again.

Chile verde fanciers will love their version of it. Nothing fancy here. if you want the basics-good basics-this is the place. A taco you sink your teeth into; A chile relleno-made like it is supposed to be made; a cheese enchilada-rich and gooey-enough said. Try it, you wont be sorry

This is a small family owned restaurant. The food is very good. Try the chimichangas! The portions are pretty substantial so have an appetite or a doggy bag at hand. They have a guitar player who walks around and sings on occasion.
