Aura Dental Care

I'm writing this review because of the wonerful experience I had at Aura Dental. I hadn't been to a dentist in 8 years due to a very bad experience. For several years I couldn't smile unless I covered my mouth with my hand because one tooth was chipped pretty bad and was just getting worse over time. I knew I had to go to the dentist. Aura dental came up on a search I did and it was close to my home. From the first call I made to schedule an appt. I was treated well. The dentist is awesome! He made me feel so comfortable, he's very good and very gentle. He also told me everything he was was going to before he did it and it all helped me totally relax and get the work done that I needed. I can actually smile and laugh freely without trying to hide my mouth. It is the best feeling ever!! I had other work done over several appointments and can't say enough good things about this place. If your afraid of the dentist like I was, there's no need to be when going here.

Great office. Couldn't be happier to have found this dentist! I've been looking for one I trust and would listen to me for two years. Here's the dentist for me and I recommend him to you!

I believe that Dr. Rajas Chitra's office was fraudulent in their billing and that her dental work was questionable. My son required filling on his molars and she filled them. Six month later, she said the fillings were broken and blamed it on the palate expander the orthodontist had installed and since removed. Our orthodontist is ranked in the top 100 in the nation and is a published researcher on palate expansion...he was perplexed at how she came to the conclusion that the palate expander (not applied to the teeth in question) could possibly have caused the cracks in the fillings. Dr. Chitre repaired the fillings and on the next 6 month visit, the SAME fillings were cracked AGAIN. This time she blamed it on our son grinding his teeth. There is no dental evidence of this and the orthodontist would have addressed it immediately if there had been. Not only did she repair them again, this time she charged us the full fee for all repairs up front because her office lady did not believe that insurance would cover the repair. They offered a caveat: they would refund the money if and when the insurance covered the repairs. The insurance did indeed cover the repairs and when I called to inquire as to when we could expect the refund check, I learned that the business had been sold. This leaves us wondering if the up front payment was really an intentional double collecting of fees before unloading the practice. Extremely disappointing. We have not seen the new dentist(s) yet, but we did contact the office regarding this issue. They said that they would try to contact the old owners for us, but we never heard back. I think we'll be changing dental offices.

Had such a good time meeting the staff here. This was a very pleasant experience. I had to have a tooth pulled and was so terrified, but Dr. Beheshtian put my mind at ease and now I've booked another appointment to finish all of my cavities.

Hi, I am the new dentist that bought this practice. Just want to let everyone know that I have been practicing in the Sacramento area for over 15 years. I've upgraded the office to digital and have brought alot of other new technology into the office. Wow, what a surprise to come in and see all the changes to the office. I really like the new Dentist. He is very nice and very gentle.

DO NOT GO! I should have read the reviews before I went. This was the worst office I have ever been to. The office lady was rude, even atogonizing. I could not believe it. She laughted at me and smirked. Unreal. She even talked about me in public to another client. I will be filing with the dental association. Good riddens get another profession. Being rude doesnt pay....
