They do good work, but are way overpriced. You come out of Mongo's with a huge bill, and if you check the parts etc., they are marked super-high. For instance, I recently had work done. They added a gallon of coolant. They charged $26 dollars for it! Ridiculous
***STAY AWAY*** These people are criminals. I went there to get my oil changed, easy enough. while I was there they ""offered"" to rotate my tires. In doing such they broke (1) one lug on each wheel. Any other shop would apologize and fix it but Mongo's loves to break things during routine checks of your car and charge you for them. They wouldn't release my car to me until I paid for 4 new lugs. $1,400. Since then I have heard horror stories similar to mine. Do not go near this place!!!!! Deserve ZERO stars!
Mongo's has been my choice for over twenty years. If you want honesty and the best service possible at reasonable rates, go there.
They back their work and explain the needed repairs.
I have purchased preowned cars there, too, with great satisfaction; because the cars were thoroughly checked out before they were sold to me. They have my trust.
Prompt, courteous service is the norm at Mongo's.
Often imitated, never duplicated...top shelf auto repairs.
I have been using Mongo's Auto Repair since 1994 and have had the utmost professional service for all my vehicles. My daughters, mother-in-law, and my 4 vehicles go to no other service center for maintenance, tires, batteries, or repair. Their attention to safety and simple wear & tear on the vehicles is something that can put one's mind at ease. They are very professional and always considerable. They are upfront on how musch the repair will be before starting the job. They even tell you how long you can wait before you consider the repair. Mongo's is honest, personable, and never take advantage of the customer. I have sat and waited for my vehicle and watched how they treat their customers....always courteous and professional. They always show and explain why the problem exists to your vehicle. I doubt if car dealers would show you the same personal touch. All their mechanics are certified and receive updated service bulletins. They are first class as far as this customer is concerned. Why else would they be rated tops in Burlington County!
Lets make this simple told me they do not warranty labor. Car would not start and they told me i Have to get new bearings and brakes then told me why my car wouldnt start. Made sure I knew they did not warranty labor and then installed a fault part(they will not back) at twice the amount of time the Automotive bible (Nicholas Ch) recommended. This business has gone down hill since ANthony Mongo retired. Anthony was a very HONEST fair man.. Unlike his child.. maybe it was because i had blonde hair and breast..
I've been bringing my cars to Mongo's for about a year. (since I moved back from Florida). They Know what there doing, they'll check your car thoroughly and advise you of any possible problems that may leave you stranded on the side of the road. I've not had any problems with their work and they've even given me a break on the price. In fact they've even given me a ride home while working on my cars. I guess that's why they've been in business for about 40 years. Go to Mongo's...
