I'm an architect and graphic designer, so I was really into designing my own tattoo for this one. Nick was great about using my design, even improved it with his subtle shading and fantastic line work. Lines are smooth and dark, - but not too thick and the fills are clear and vivid; the positioning was perfect. I can certainly say that the finish product exceeded my expectations. On a different note, the shop is WAY beyond what anyone would expect. I chose the Flying Tiger based upon the portfolios posted online, but went a day ahead to check them out, see the place, check the price for the tat I had in mind and schedule the appointment. Located in Pleasant Ridge, it was very convenient for me. When I walked in, though, I was surprised! the place was not just professional, but very tastefully decorated....nice floors, oriental rugs, etc. The whole place is classy and professional...and the price seemed just right. Overall, I was very happy about the whole experience. Definitely would recommend to anyone - tattoo fanatic OR newbie.
I got my first tattoo from Designs By Dana 2 years ago. I was referred to them by everyone. When I was searching for the right place to go, everyone I asked would just say "Dana's". I've been going there ever since (tattoos are addicting). They are so friendly and make you feel at home. I've been in other shops since then and have found that a lot of places are cold and unfriendly. I went with a friend to two other local shops recently and the artists acted like her idea was stupid and wouldn't offer their suggestions or help. One of the shops had a front girl that was just completely rude. In the end I took her to Dana's. The price was comparable to the other two shops and the artist worked with us to make her idea work. I love Designs By Dana and would never go anywhere else. Not to mention they have great artists who do great work!
I have several tattoos and all but 1 were done by Mario and I am extremly happy with all the work he has done for me. All the artist there are extremly talented and u will not be dissapointed by there work. Mario has finally got his own shop which is very nice, well decorated, organized and is a very relaxing enviroment, ideal for any one looking to get tattooed, weather you are a repeate customer or looking for your first tattoo. drop by and check out the shop and some of the work they have done.
Although it takes me about 30 mins from Kentucky to get here, it's worth it. I'd recommend this place to first timers or people getting their 20th tattoo. I've visited other parlors, and the people have been rude and the prices too high. I've gotten all my tattoos here and they've always been friendly, professional and give reasonable pricing. Also, it's always clean and they play some good music. :)
i had my nostril pierced at beelistic by kevin jump. i cannot say enough about my experience! he was professional, easy going, and really knows his info! i was very nervous and he helped me relaxed and wanted it to be a great experience. i would highly recommend this business for all of your piercing needs!
I've been getting work from Mario for the past few years. His work is exceptional and he has branched out to his own shop. The shop is professional, in quality and image. I recommend all my friends and family to him, not one has been disappointed. If you want the best, trust the best.
To those above complaining, Your taste in ink is as poor as the grammar you use to review. I've been tatted in three states and this shop is by far the most professional, clean and enjoyable environment I've seen. Affordable & extremely detail oriented.
White Crane Tattoos Is a great business! I was recently tattooed by Mario and it was my best tattoo experience yet. Mario is a great artist who takes his work seriously and is very respected. Keep up the great work.
Don't base your judgment of the shop off one idiot's review. The tattoo artists here are some of the best in all of Cincinnati. LA is the one closest artists to being considered an ink master that I've ever met.
Happy with my tats so far. I had a back piece done back in 2005 and it still looks awesome. Now I am getting a ribcage piece done and it looks good so far and the outline healed fast.
