Tavern on the Bend

Nice local sports bar with typical bar food except for the mac and cheese. They have several types of mac and cheese. On Mondays all mac and cheese is half price.

Noted for their mac and cheese varieties, Monday is the day to go and get it for half price. It goes great with a cup or bowl of their chili. This neighborhood bar and restaurant is not much to look at from the outside as it's located in a strip mall. It could also have a bit more variety on the menu, but service is quick with friendly waiters.

You would have thought in that area it would he just another regular budlight & Miller lite tap beer restaurant or bar, but it is not so. They have 18 different beers on draft and Dave Matthews Band Wine which you cannot get on the Kentucky side and is great. The burgers, Mac and cheeses, and salads are awesome and service is surprisingly extremely fast and the bartenders are not too shabby looking either. I would definitely recommend this place! yum!
