Dental Examination
We believe every tooth matters and that's why we'll check your teeth for free (* see details ), even if you don't have insurance, Medi-Cal or a great big wallet. It's not just you. We'll do it for any new patient. That's how much we care about teeth.
X-rays
The orthodontist will check on the motion of your child's jaw and how their teeth align (or don't!). She may take a mold of your child's mouth and panoramic X-Rays so she can see your child's incoming permanent teeth.

Teeth Cleaning
Plaque releases acid that weakens your tooth enamel and irritates your gums. If you don’t brush, floss and get a dental cleaning every six months, the plaque can harden, and your gums will start telling you they’re in trouble.

During your child’s exam, the dentist will check for decay and alignment. (Depending on the age of your child, the dentist may ask you to sit in the dental chair and hold your child.) The dentist will look for any potential problems with the gums, jaw, and overall health of your child’s mouth.
