This place is TERRIBLE! My sisters and I go out on Friday to local diners, today we went to Jerry's and will never return! The waitress was rude, looked at us like we were stupid when we asked questions about the items, did not know what the special sauce was. When the food finally came we ordered mushroom Swiss burger's, mine had no mushrooms and the cheese was just laying on the top and it had NO TASTE to it, was very greasy! My sister's was a sloppy mess with no mushrooms and onions that she specifically requested not to be on it! Once they brought it back there was still onions on it. Needless to say we barely ate 1/2 of it. They then charged her for the onions! This place is not on our return list, TERRIBLE!!!!!!

About a year ago, I ordered a pizza for carry out. When I got to Jerry's, the female behind the counter said ""we forgot to put your pizza in the oven"", so I waited the extra 30 minutes for them to bake it.
Well, tonight we ordered two pizzas. When I got there, the lady told me it would be just a few minutes before they were done. After about 20 minutes of waiting at the bar, she inexplicably walked up to me and said, ""it looks like we don't have any record of you ordering any pizzas after all"".
Couple these two monumental blunders and poor service with a pizza last month that had dough like cardboard (bad batch?), and you have a business that no longer cares about its customers or its survival.
Avoid at all costs, unless you like taking a chance on not having your pizza order recorded or placed in the oven.

Chillicothe has several institutions - the Cozy burger, the Sumburger and of course, Jerry's Pizza. Everytime I am in Chilli I stop by and pick up a couple of Jerry's Pizzas. One large is the perfect size for a person with a decent appetite. Unique taste - cuts into strips, best when eaten hot (in the bar). Old bar located in the shadow of Mead paper - good working class place - definitely a throwback place (however they have installed a big screen t.v. and modern day jukebox). I have heard the cheese is goat cheese and they use real lard in the crust. Best pizza I've ever had anywhere.

This place has been around forever (1954, I think) and hasn't changed since I frequented it as a teenager growing up in SE Ohio. If you like the glommy, cheesy ""pizza hut style"" garbage that most Americans know as pizza you'll hate Jerrys. If you want to try something different, this is your place. Thin crust, light toppings and an out of the ordinary flavor (I think they are using Swiss cheese or something like that). This place is not hip in the least and my one complaint is that they only carry the watered down, lager style, macro brews (e.g., Bud, Miller, PBR) but if I'd suggest that maybe they should add a Sierra Nevada or something like that to the list they'd look at me like I was from Mars.. Having not lived in the area since I was 17 years old, I feel like an alien when I come back to visit but I guess that's the charm. The clientele at Jerry's is local and mostly elderly. I'm afraid that I'll pass through town some day and it will be closed because it's definitely an artifact of the 50's and 60's. If you want to step into the ""way-back machine"" and have a good cheap pizza, go to Jerry's.
