This is a very nice place to chill. Both the staff and the patrons are friendly. The patio is great. I don't understand the last reviewers reference to the volume of the music. It was unobtrusive whenever I was there. A great place.

First for the only good point: their patio area is nice, so a pleasant experience is possible in summer. But if you can't sit outside, avoid Sofo. Inside the bar the music is so loud, it's literally painful. Even at 7 p.m., when there's hardly anyone there, the speakers (which are tinny pieces of garbage) will be blaring. For a little, neighborhood bar, this is jarring and obnoxious. Who wants to hear Journey at 150 decibels? It's easy enough to blame it on their dim-witted bartenders, one of whom doesn't even speak English, but management should be setting the proper tone.\r Their price for bottled beer is reasonable, but avoid mixed drinks. A well vodka and tonic is twice the price of an MGD.\r The clientele is predominantly gay and middle-aged.
