If you are looking for authentic Italian good, dining, and atmosphere..this is it...had to wait..takes 40 minutes to get pizza once order is placed..but other dishes are faster..had quite a wait since right after cubs game but worth it!

Good Food

We ordered the pizza prior to arrival. When we arrived a table was ready. Drinks were ordered and delivered to the table quickly. The place has a nice neighborhood feel. Really comfortable. The pizza was hot and tasty. We have been here a couple of times. Never disappointed.

Pizza is good, but delivery is...

Pizza is good, but delivery is extremely poor. You wait too long and the pizza is almost cold when you receive it.

Stay away

Aweful. Had problems with takeout orders twice. One delivered pizza arrived as if they had carried the box like a book. A $5 side sallad wasn't worth 99 cents. The management is terrible. They hire people who simply have no idea how to talk to a customer. Avoid at all costs. Plenty of good pizza places in Chicago.I think this place stays in business by preying on tourists.

Best Pizza -Just Amazing

Their deep dish pizza is amazing. I don't know what the big deal is about Giordano's and Lou Malnati's and Gino's East. I think all of these places are mediocre. Pizano's is outstanding. The crust is just right and not too bready and bit crunchy and the bottom of the pizza is a bit buttery but saturated in the pizza flavor. I dream about that pizza. The breadsticks are awesome as well.

BEST pizza in Chicago!

Absolutely the best deep dish pizza in Chicago, hands down. Will never go anywhere else for pizza because nothing can compare!

Worst pizza experience ever!

When I looked up this restaurant, I loved the reviews! Great food, great atmosphere, fast service. The only thing I can agree on is that it had a fun, cozy atmosphere--loved the checkerboad table cloths. When we got there for a late dinner, we found out that there was a forty minute wait! However, when I had inquired about reservations, I was told you don't need them. We couldn't stay since we had a show to get to. A... view more

Great Pizza, could use better service.

Pros: Absolutely love their pizza; best in Chicago (shhhh... don't tell too many people!); it's crushed tomatoes, not sauce... out of this world sausage, great pepperoni, lots of cheese.\r \r CONS: The service, particularly the seating host/take-out could really use a lesson in politeness as you could stand in front of them for five minutes without any recognition. They're nice enough when they acknowledge you, but i... view more

Great pizza!

I had a deep dish pepperoni/mushroom/black olive. The crust is unlike I've ever had before...flakey, crispy, chewy. Wow! It's kind of out of the way even though it's close to downtown. You won't find many tourists here. GREAT service! I wish I new our server's name so I could mention him. He was friendly, helpful, and acted like he was there just for us.
