Pacific Garden Mission, located in Chicago, is one of the oldest rescue mission organizations in the United States. It provides a wide range of services and programs, including a resident Bible program, Bible academy, Gospel league home, career devolpment and job placement, food services, clothing, and overnight accomodations. Pacific Garden Mission also provides additional services, such as food distribution, counseling, free medical and dental care, and outreach to the Polish community, English as a second language, and the Gospel in Chicago's housing projects programs. It has various ministries that include men, women, children, Bible education, homeless outreach, medical clinic, Polish and jail ministries. Its Old Lighthouse Bible Academy offers various classes, including fundamentals of faith, Christian character, Bible doctrine, Bible survey, Christian manhood, New Testament Christianity, survey of the Gospel of John, and the art of preaching.

this place deserves no stars because they don't know the sacredness of marriage, one I had to ask to see my husband, and two my kids had to be separated because of the ages, and three they talked to me like I was a real scum, and four they said we spent to much time together before breakfast, and five they just did not like the fact that we were married.

this is run like a prison
they treat every one that walk thru the doors like they are a person just out of prison they will yell at people for no reason they herd you in to a large room they use for a church you must attend this service before being fed breakfast this isnt right being that they get federal funding they shouldnt be allowed to force people to listen their sermons before they feed .... most times you sleep on a mattress with no sheet and no blanket or pillow then they kick you out the door after breakfast rain or shine and this is suppose to be a christian run shelter the govt needs to run a background check on the place and the people that run it which by the way is run by mostly thug secuirty guards and these guards have nobody supervising them at all so that is why people are treated without any respect or diginty and they call themselves christian yeah right
