I had not driven for 15 years due to a medical condition. Once recuperated, my neurologist gave me two options: Nova Driving School or driving rehabilitation in a hospital setting. It was a no brainer, since rehab was ten times the cost and inconveniently located. Thanks to Nova Driving School and the amazing instructor assigned to me, Martha Naveda, my driving privileges have been reinstated and I feel more confident than ever! But, I cannot say enough about Martha, who has the patience of a SAINT!! Many times, I lost my patience and wanted to quit and Martha had patience for both of us!! Martha quickly assessed what I needed to work on to rebuild my confidence and ease my anxiety. She is a very positive and encouraging instructor. I recommend Martha to anyone who is scared, nervous, or worried about being able to drive. Martha is one of those teachers you never forget and always remember with a BIG smile :)

I am very happy with the service…
I am very happy with the service provided by Nova Driving school. My teacher Martha Naveda is very attentive, calm and respective person. I was looking for such type of teacher initially because I didn't have any driving experience and needed someone who would teach me everything. And Martha was the perfect teacher. Also all the staff in this school is helpful and gentle, they always send and call to remind about the lessons scheduled.

I really enjoyed my experience at Nova!
I really enjoyed my experience at Nova! The customer service from Lourdes was exceptional. She was ALWAYS professional and friendly and she made me feel like a valued customer.
My instructor, Ms. Martha was AWESOME!!! She was extremely patient and very encouraging. She used various methods to get me to understand some of the nuances to driving and today I got my license. I would certainly recommend Nova and Ms. Martha as an instructor. -

Thanks Martha and Nova for helping me to get my driver's license. I'm a very very nervous person and Martha explained to me over and over how to turn, park, slow down, etc. until I got it. She was very patient and never gave up.
I practiced the road test several times and that helped me to be more confident.
No complains at all. Excellent teacher, excellent customer service and competitive price. -

And I'm very happy, after a long period of thinking, because I did not think I could ever drive because I'm nervous. I took courage and I search the internet for a driving school, and now I'm glad that I found this school great school, Nova Driving School. I want to thank Mrs. Martha who was my instructor because he had a lot of patience with me throughout all sessions, because she told and explained me many times all traffic rules and steps you need to follow. I thank you so much not only because it taught me to drive but also because she is an amazing person, very caring, optimistic, full of positive energy from her I learned so much . Especially her voice very calm and encouragement helped me to pass, I was very scared and nervous at the same time. I think this is the best gift for Christmas.
I recommend this driving school to my sister and now has license. I recommend with confidence, Martha as an instructor, all people who want to take their driver's license soon.

I am writing this review in order to…
I am writing this review in order to help anyone who does not have a driving license, is afraid of driving or has failed the driving test and has lost hope. I want you to know that I once thought I would never drive because I was just so afraid on the road. I contacted Nova Driving School and Iam so glad that I did. My instructor was Martha. I have these words for Martha..Exceptional, very skilled, understanding, very patient and extremely dedicated to her job. Martha helped me in many ways..she helped me to recognize my mistakes with great patience, she helped me to drive confidently as if I've been driving for years, she worked with me for hours with dedication. This is a talent that is very rare because I feel these qualities are very rare for one person to have. But, I have found all these in her. I passed my test on my first attempt after I took classes with Martha in Nova Driving school.
Sometimes we do very difficult things in life..like taking difficult examinations, giving presentations, doing complicated research..but are unable to acquire the skill of driving. I was in a similar situation. But then I thought of Nova Driving School and was very lucky to have Martha, who was truly phenomenal. Her skill, talent, patience, and most of all her dedication is very commendable.
I want to thank everyone who answered the phone at Nova for giving me very prompt appointments, for getting back to me even I did not get back to them,for reminding me before each class and for their kindness throughout.
Thank you Martha. You are an awesome teacher and a wonderful person. I will always remember you. On the day of the test, thank you for all your support.
I thank God for the great freedom and blessing of driving. Now I am driving 50 miles a day to my University and back home in Skokie. Imagine what I would have done with no license!
For all those who have given up hope..please rise up, give yourself a chance, pick up the phone and call Nova Driving School and ask for Martha.
You can do it, like I did!

Amazing experience of learning driving…
Amazing experience of learning driving by Carlos. He is the best instructor. He cover each and every tricks and tips which not only help you to pass the driving test but also make you drive safely. Sometime he scold you but that is for your goodness. I really like to recommend him to other learners.

I think Nova Driving School is an…
I think Nova Driving School is an excellent school for anyone who needs to obtain their Illinois driver's license. For me, I needed to obtain my driver's license quickly. I found out about Nova because of their positive reviews on Yelp. About two weeks ago, I contacted Nova to inquire about their driving programs. At the end of last week I was able to book my first driving lesson around my schedule. Because I was a nervous driver, I enrolled in the beginner's driver education course. I got four lessons and a trip to the DMV. Today I received my license thanks to Elvia, my driving instructor. Thank You Elvia!
What I love most about this school is that the Nova instructors were very accomodating to my schedule. I was able to book weekend driving lessons, two early morning driving lessons, a night lesson and then a trip to the DMV. I really appreciate the flexibility at Nova. I also appreciated the women who work in the office at Nova. Not only were they extremely helpful over the phone, they were willing to let me try one lesson before I decided if I needed to start in a beginner's program or the intermediate program. I learned then and there that I found the right school for me.
If you decide to take lessons at Nova, ask for Elvia. You could ask for any of the instructors as I am sure they are just as helpful behind the wheel as Elvia. Elvia expects nothing less than perfection behind the wheel. When you finish your lessons with Elvia, you will drive your car using proper driving techniques and strategies. I remember spending at least a few hours alone on turning. My previous driving skills were rusty and I was fearful of driving. With extensive instruction from Elvia, I now have confidence in my ability to drive safely.
I also want to mention that I do not work for Nova. I had lessons with Nova and passed my driving test today. Today I have my license. Nova is affordable. They are flexible. and any of the instructors will help you get your license in four lessons.

I found Nova Driving School is…
I found Nova Driving School is appropriate place to learn driving lesson in Chicago.I took three lessons with Instructor,Martha and she is really experienced instructor with lots of good skills in a few hours which help me to get my driver license very easily. So, if you are looking for good school to learn driving lessons I would recommend Nova Driving School. Thank you Martha for all your help!

Martha was my instructor .she was very nice and patient .I recommended her. I felt very confident when i was driving with her. I took three hours of drving with her. However,the only thing I didn't like was that when i was driving nova driving school kept calling her. Nova driving school kept calling her during my lesson and that got me real nervous. i understand she had to pick up the phone because that was her work calling her. i felt that was rude and dangerous from Nova calling an instructor while the instructor was driving with a student.

Martha will teach you how to drive
Before Nova, I was afraid to drive and was not confident in driving either. With Martha's help and tips, I am much better now.
The time I was taking the road test, she was even much more nervous than me, and helped me review all the skills. Thank her! I highly recommend her to be your instructor if you want to learn how to drive. Thanks! -
Dario will teach you how to drive!
I am 32 and have NEVER drove a car, I took the 4 day class with Dario, I want to say that Dario is the ABSOLUTE BEST instructor!!!
Please I highly recomend that if you are looking for a driving school you choose Nova and ask for Dario, he was calm and taught an old dog like me a whole lot of new tricks, he never yelled and made me feel so confidant he did what no one else who has tried all my life to do, learn how to drive!
I passed my driving test on my first try with no mistakes!!! I have been driving now for a couple of weeks and I feel like I've been drivng my whole life I have no fear and am so confidant and comfortalbe driving now! I owe it all to Dario and Nova! Thank you! -
Nova Driving School
I would highly recommend Nova Driving School if you want to learn how to drive the correct way in a short amount of time. Before Nova, I was afraid to drive and was not confident in driving either. But my instructor, Julian Aguirre helped me become a confident and safe driver. He was very patient, has a great sense of humor, and is a very good teacher. Thirty minutes after meeting him, I felt like I knew him like a best friend. Without Nova Driving School it would have taken at least another year to finally feel confident about driving and get my driver's license.

Thank You Nova Driving School!
I am thirty two years of age and previosly failed the drivers road test three times about ten years ago. I ran across Nova driving school and it was the best decision I've ever made. I attained my drivers liscense and now a confident and careful driver. It took about four to five lessons. The trainers Carlos and Dario were very patient and knowledgable. I highley reccoment them.
