The National Latino Education Institute, formerly known as Spanish Coalition for Jobs, is a nonprofit organization that offers a variety of employment training and placement services. Founded in 1972, the organization provides employment opportunities to job seekers in industrial, clerical and professional positions in more than 300 companies. The National Latino Education Institute offers basic adult education services and coordinates the English as a Second Language program. Its Bilingual Medical Assistant (BMA) Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). In addition, the organization administers various financial literacy education programs in partnerships with several financial institutions. The National Latino Education Institute offers scholarship programs in partnership with ComEd.
