Good source for hard-to-find parts

Le May is usually the 1st place I call when I need hard-to-find parts, especially foreign. I've never requested something they either didn't have or couldn't get quickly. They're not the most ""warm & fuzzy"" place in the business but I want parts, not conversation. Their prices are reasonable and, if time is of the essence, I'll pay a little bit more to get a part ASAP rather than wait 3-4 days for UPS to deliver one. I recommend them for the parts alone but go to Pep Boys if you want a smiling face to greet you.

bad customer service
this little hole in the wall auto parts store should be avoided. They have horrible customer service, I wasn't even greeted when I was the only customer in the store. one of the employees was sleeping on a shelf in one part of the store and in general it was dirty and dusty. save the headache and travel the extra 3 miles or so to pep boys on Elston and Fullerton. The item I bought was defective...I should have known something was wrong when they had to dust it off when bringing it from the back. Also they refused to take the item back, and like a bunch of 2 year olds just looked away and pretended I wasn't there instead of explaining why it could not be returned.
