Founded in 1874, Lakeview High School is located in Chicago, and offers a range of educational programs to students. Its academic curriculum includes studies in art, mathematics, English and history. Its science program includes classes in biology, chemistry, physics and environmental science. It additionally provides various classes in business technology and world languages, such as French, Spanish, German and Chinese. The school also offers studies in music, and health and physical education. The library at Lakeview High School offers various resources, such as books, magazines, journals, newspapers, maps, and dictionaries and encyclopedias. The school s athletics department offers a variety of sports activities, including basketball, baseball, soccer, softball, cross country and football. In addition its sports include golf, tennis, volleyball, and track and field. Lakeview High School has various clubs, such as drama, art, chess and computer repair club.
