Provided by DexKnowsKYL is the best place for Kundalini Yoga in the midwest. There are plenty of times throughout the week to take a class and it is always welcoming and inviting. The teachers are knowledgeable and nice. You do not have to do anything perfect like other types of yoga and if you just lean in the right direction you will get the benefits. The studio accommodates for all levels of ability and age.

Provided by DexKnowsSat Nam! I have been a part of the Kundalini Yoga in the Loop community for almost 3 years. Kundalini yoga is powerful yoga and I was hooked the first time I was exposed to it. The technology hooked me, not the style or dress of the teachers. I have practiced yoga for several years - nothing has affected me more quickly and in more dimensions of my life than this practice. The teachers at KYL deliver the teachings of Yogi Bhajan faithfully; they elevate your mind, body and spirit. If you can't see God in all you can't see God at all.Peace to all.Ram Nam Kaur

Provided by DexKnowsI've been coming to this studio for over two years. I have learned so much about myself through the technology of Kundalini yoga. I've become more aware, more accepting, more flexible, more whole, more integrated. The studio offers lots of different class times, but I've attended the Sunday class where they serve a pot luck after every class. It has been a wonderful way to meet like minded people and find a sense of community. Come for the yoga, stay for lunch. Honestly, KYL has changed my life.

Provided by DexKnowsAt this studio it's always showtime, but if you're looking for real yoga, don't jump off the bus at this stop. Glitz, glam, carefully orchestrated personalities moving with a sense of always being on and in the spotlight -- lots of shiny veneer, no depth or substance underneath. There are other, less expensive options in the Chicago area for high-quality Kundalini instruction offered by teachers who don't work so hard to hook you and reel you in -- in fact, they don't work at it at all: they just live and teach yoga. I gave this place a fair chance over the course of several months and I was consistently disappointed. No, I wouldn't go back.

Provided by DexKnowsKundalini goes way beyond postures; this truly elevates your consciousness, opens the heart, and eradicates your stress.

This is how yoga was meant to be, a deeply inner journey to reach the spark of God within. Kundalini does this with several tools: postures, mantra, chanting, breath work, the gong (awesome), and meditation - in every class!
