City Escape ignores our building's mid-century architecture
City Escape has somehow convinced our board of directors that their expensive, over-the-top design for landscaping will make our ""ugly building"" look ""updated"". In fact, our building, mid-century in design with a glass, floating first floor is unique and fitting with other buildings of it's era in Streeterville. City Escape has designed walls of stone to act as planters on top of which they will plant hundreds of plants and trees. The design will block light and view which is the opposite of what the building was designed to do. City Escape has not considered architecture, enviornment, or neighborhood. They don't even get the concepts. Obviously, the only thing left is that they understand money.
