Chi-Town Tattoo iand Body Piercing is open 7 days a week from noon until 2am. We are State of Illinois licensed compliant tattoo and piercing studio. Our friendly, experienced staff has been tattooing and piercing many happy Chicagoans and our clean and sterile environment ensures your safety.

We have over thousands of designs to choose from or we welcome your creative ideas as custom art. To get a tattoo, you must be 18 years of age and for body piercings we can accept people as young as 13 with parental consent.
All tattoos and piercings start at $30! We have a wide selection of body jewelry as well.
Our experts will also provide you with plenty of tips to keep your tattoos and piercings clean. We are conveniently located at I-90 and Lawrence with free parking and close to both the Metra and CTA.

Had a great time last night getting pierced and inked...I have only ever gone to one tattoo shop all my life, I had two tattoos and a piercing but when i went to check them out this last time I was a little disappointed at the customer service and the talk through...followed one of the reviews from the old place to you guys...checked out your site and gave you a call. The guy on the phone sounded young but let me know that you would have at least two girls on site to do female piercings that night... Thank you to Kelly who did a great job and gave you choices along with a wealth of knowledge to make that choice. On to my tattoo...Thank you Wendy for helping me modify my tat so it would work. I love it!

To my surprise when i walked I was greeted by friendly staff in a matter the minutes. the service is awesome, the shop is super clean,the workers are very friendly and helpful. My tattoo is awesome the artist did a phenomenal job! This is the place to come, the hours are great(open till 2 am) the artists work with you to customize your tattoo and get exactly what you are looking, they all are talented and motivated. I am overall super pleased with every visit of mine, I come with all my friends, whether it be tattoo or piercing. The piercers are also great and I am super satisfied with my belly piercing! I have a few tattoos from chi town tattoo, 5 to be exact (: i love this place it's my number one choice whenever i'm thinking about getting inked up. the staff is super super friendly and make a wonderful enviroment! they are so knowledgable and they have my trust 100 % whenever they advise me on things. recently i got my 5th tattoo and it was done amazing and perfect, like i expected it to be. I cant ask for anything better! when i walk threw the doors of chi town tattoo i just know that i'll be satisfied to the max. my artist that did my recent tattoo was nice and talked to me like a friend. it was cool. its so clean in this shop!!! Some of the other scummy tattoo shops in chicago are just nasty...ew. my expirience was amazing here and i am excited to get anoher tattoo from here! Awesome shop!!

Had my belly button pierced by you guys : ) dont remember the piercers name, but he was an older fellow. He was awesome and talked to me the whole time. You guys pretty much saved me on my florida vacation as well. My piercing became infected from the pool water & went to a tattoo parlor by the condo and they wanted me to pay 45 for a sanitation kit that lasted 15 days. then I remember that you guys said unscented dial soap helps clean it. used it and infetction was gone within 48 hours. Thanks for much chitown!

I got my eyebrow done by the piercer Steve Bennett at this shop. He was so awesome. He spoke to me through the whole piercing process, informing me of what was going on & what he was doing...so there were no surprises. He was so professional. I will definitely come back for another piercing by him & recommend him to all!

I just got a tattoo from Chi Town Tattoo! They are the best! I visited other shops in the past. This was by far the best experience! I got a custom piece (portrait of my daughter with angel wings) on my ribs.\r Jerry did wonderful job! Pedro, Agatha, Bill, thanks for artistic input and professional additude! Great location, right by 90, they are undergoing some constuction in the area, but easy to go around the block, right into the parking in the back. WILL BE BACK SOON guys!

I got my micro dermal done there and the guy who pierced it did a really good job i thought. i loved it but when i went in again to get it changed CHUCK changed it. it took him a hour alot of pain and blood and even hurt worse than it did to get it done. then he told me i needed to be twisting it and thats why it hurt and took so long. A month later after trying to twist it a few times and being un-successful i called Tatu Tattoo another place in chicago and the piercer told me to come in. turns out you are never supposed to twist it or even be touching it. He told me i should get my money back because it was so messed up. i have to get it removed and theres gonna be a scar. when i called and talked to chuck he was a complete A-hole and hung up on me. dont trust them or even waste your money there!!!

i came to chi town tattoo to get my first tattoo done. i got a butterfly done on my lower back and i LOVE IT! i am sooo happy with it i am going to come here to get alll my other tattoos. the artists are so friendly and the environment in the shop is like reallly nice. i wasn't sure at first how i wanted my tattoo done so agata helped me a lot and gave me a lot of good ideas and i am grateful. well yeah all in all; i recommend that you come get your tattoos done here for sure!

What made it unique or special?I got all my work done in Chitown, absolutely love the shop! Great artists, friendly atmosphere, lots of new, cool ideas and designs.you don't have to have a whole finished idea when you go there. They help you pick and customize a piece. I love it!\r The only drawback was the scary-looking guy, at the last booth from entrance door. As a young girl I never felt comfortable when he was there. Creep! But i found out they got rid of him! I love everyone there! Thats the only place I'll EVER go to get my work done! LOVE YOU GUYS! peace! Carolina.

It is a really great place to go to the environment is really nice, friendly, fun, relaxed, and so much more. The prices are great, and you get a free shirt. Krazy Tom aka the Joker is the best. His Joker theme is amazing the way he has it set up. He does all my piercings, and my tattoos. Krazy Tom is very nice and friendly he talks to you and he always makes you laugh he is the BEST EVER!!! It is clean, fun and the tattoo artist do great works of art.The atmosphere is fun and relaxed and makes you feel confident. I got a tattoo there and it was great. My 3 daughters got numerous tattoo's from Krazy Tom and he does amazing work.. unfortunately he was injured when I got my 1st one there.
