Bad Experience

I've taken my Sheltie to Broadway animal hospital twice. After the first time I swore I would never go back, but had to when I couldn't get her in anywhere else and she was scratching so bad that she cut her eye.\n\nThe first time I found out that this vet does not allow the owners to handle their pets. For the type of breed of dog that I have this was absolutely devastating.... I've never had this happen at a vet... view more

Worst experience ever

In January, 2010 I took my 3 1/2 month old puppy for his booster shots. What a horrible experience. Dr. Hauk walked into the exam room and encouraged my puppy to jump up to greet him, then scolded him and proceeded to teach me what to do so the puppy would not jump on people in the future.\r\n\r\nThen the puppy started nipping as puppies do. I lightly tapped him on the snout and said firmly ""No bite"" as Dr. Hauk... view more

One of the things I miss the most about Chicago

I moved from Chicago to rural North Florida about 1.5 years ago. One of the things I miss the most is Dr. Kaz and the Broadway Animal Hospital. Dr. Kaz was always wonderful with my animals, but was also very kind to me when one of my cats was critically ill (he saved her, BTW) and then again when she died about 5 years later. I miss his hospital greatly.

Cheap prices and friendly staff, but lack of clear care direction

First off, no one has ever been rude or snotty to me. The Doctors are great and caring to my lab puppy. I feel like I always get mixed messages from the different doctors and the staff concerning proper care for my dog.\r\nUpon my first visit, I inquired about prices of neutering. I subsequently got 4 different prices quoted me after the whole process was done months later. I was never told my dog needed not eat or d... view more

Good doctors, poor staff

I agree somewhat with the last posting. The vets, especially Dr. Kas, are great. Very caring, calm, and knowledgeable. Their staff, however, leave something to be desired. A few months ago I made an appointment for my dog to have a dental cleaning. I asked if she would need to have any labwork done before she came in for the procedure and was told no by the girl I talked to on the phone. Of course, when my husb... view more

The horrible service of the good Doctors

I have never been treated so rudly in my life. The woman taking samples from my dog had no clue to what she was doing and missed his vain. She was too busy talking about her lunch too give me a second thought.\r\nThen she told me my dogs stools were fine I almost walked out, They are Horrible women.\r\nThe short haired woman at the front desk was even more horrible as I tried to make small talk while waiting for the ... view more

Nice Vet - Really High Prices

I normally go to McKillips Animal Hospital so I'm basing this review on my experience with McKillips. The reason I didn't use McKillpis this time was because they are closed on Thursday afternoons day my pet needed attention.\n\nMy dog is prone to getting cysts so I know what to expect ... all my pet needed was to have it's cyct lanced and stiched and then some meds prescribed .... McKillips usually charges me $150... view more

What a great place!

Don't miss the chance to deal with a compassionate staff. Dr Kaz has seen us through the passing of two beloved bets and done so with grace, understanding and empathy. He is equally skilled with dogs and cats and loves the Labs!
