Brieske, established in 1912 and Herdegen, established in 1957, were merged by William P. Herdegen Jr. in 1988 when he purchased the PA Birren & Son Mortuary building on the corner of Lincoln and Southport. The merged Herdegen-Brieske Funeral Home is now owned and operated by William's son Joseph. We maintain the funeral records for the George J. Westfall, Brieske, and Herdegen funeral homes.
