We've lived in Rogers Park for 6 years. Every time we would drive down Broadway we would see Barry's Spot. Finally, we to the opportunity to order. We read through all the reviews online, felt confident this would be a good experience. We ordered delivery, one large pizza, estimated delivery time 45 to 60 minutes. 1 hour 45 minutes later the delivery person showed up. Apparently he said they delivered the pizza to the wrong address, cooked another, and when he went to pick-up someone was eating, so they cooked another...""Sorry, at least your pizza's hot."" I called Barry's spot, and they said, ""Sorry, at least you're pizza's hot. We'll give you 5 dollars off on your next order."" WOW! Let me give everyone reading this review, thinking about ordering from Barry's Spot, some advice...Order from Tedino's. They are at 5335 North Sheridan, their phone number is: 773.275.8100.

Last time I was there, eating in their new dining room at 1 pm on a saturday and the lady working the counter comes over and asks me if I'm almost done because she needs to close. I was shocked.
overall there pizza is prettty good, there service is poor if not downright offensive, and don't get their cheeseburgers.

I'm originally from Philly... I find ""deep dish Chicago style"" pizza disgusting. The only other kind of pizza Chicago has is thin crust. East coasters know that the best pizza is regular crust Italian style. I ordered from Barry's because it was close by and cheap, and although I had to get the ""thin crust"", it was pretty good! I don't know what the first reviewer is talking about saying there is a wax paper on it, I didn't get that and I've ordered multiple times. You get a huge 18 inch pizza for only $10.99 and a free 1 Liter bottle of soda (or ""pop"" as Chicago people call it). That lasts me and my boyfriend a few days. The annoying thing is they cut in square pieces (also a Chicago trait?), but when I asked them to cut it into familiar triangles, they readily obliged.
