Overall
None of the original vets seem...

None of the original vets seem to work here anymore, though the office manager has been there for 30 years (per their website).

We took my cat here for an emergency visit recently- they aren't my regular vet, but my family used them years ago and had been satisfied. the vet who looked at my cat seemed right out of school and didn't seem to recognized symptoms any cat owner would know. We were unimpressed, but she was friendly and told us we'd hear back once the results of a test came back.

Dr. Sing is the one who called me and he tried to treat a problem of crystals in the bladder with regular wet food and tried pushing behavioral therapy on me. I'm not one to discount behavioral problems in pets, but my pet has a physical illness that he did not treat properly. As a result, my cat almost went into kidney failure and has now had a catheter for 3 days. Luckily, he's now under the care of my regular vet.

All this could have been prevented if Dr. Singh had treated him properly. When I called to speak with the office manager to express my concerns, I instead got a call back from Singh who talked down to me, blamed me, made up things we'd talked about, lectured me on how "almost all bladder issues including crystals in young cats is due to a behavioral problem (?!) and then... get ready for it... this is a doozy... told me if I was a professional, I would have known to DO MY OWN RESEARCH after he'd given me his diagnosis?!!?!? Best part is that I HAD done my own research and discussed what I'd read when we'd previously spoken. He also told me the office manager "did not need to call me back". I was glad when she did as I'd requested, but we didn't come to a satisfactory resolution.

If you value your pets well being and life, please, please, find another vet. Abell's practices are dangerous, incompetent and should be avoided at all costs.

Overall
Dog Hearing Test

I am looking to purchase a Cocker Spaniel. Before I visited this Vet, I watched the YouTube Videos at his website. I did NOT realize that English Cocker Spaniel may have a hearing problem. I did NOT realize that I could have a Cocker Spaniel tested for hearing problem. Several of my friends that have Cocker Spaniels said they have a lot of trouble training their dog. It was like the dog was NOT hearing them. Things that make you go HMMMMM….
