The Bellezza Gelato is a small ice cream parlor and coffee shop that transports you to a European gelateria in Italy. It is cozy, clean, beautifully decorated and the owner is very cordial and will let you try any of the gelatos. They have their own gelato chef and the treats are many, fresh and delicious. I tried the Carot Cake gelato and it is very earthy and it tastes like "fall". I also tried a chocolate raspberry truffles gelato that was out of this world. I had a strawberry-rhubarb smoothy that was very refreshing and delicious. Go and transport yourself to a little village in Italy - enjoy a cup of cappuccino, espresso, baked treats and a great gelato! They are closed on Mondays, but open at 1:00 p.m. from Tuesday to Saturday and on Sundays from 5:00 p.m. to the evening.
This is one of my all time favorite places to eat! Berta and her son, the owners, are so sweet and generous. It feels like they are welcoming you into their home. The food is a combination of mexican and Cuban and is AMAZING!! I like to start with a very dry Sapphire martini, straight up with blue-cheese olives. Their soups make a great appetizer, richly flavorful and delicious. For dinner, I love the grilled Salmon drizzled with a chipotle cream sauce on top of garlic polenta with perfectly cooked asparagus on the side. Oh, and did I mention the fresh bread, soft on the inside, light crust on the outside!! A great place to go by yourself and have dinner at the bar while you watch the people go by, or with friends at a table. I love it!!!
The minute you step inside Manny's the aroma is mouth-watering. The wonderful corned beef and potato pancakes are extraordinary. The food speaks for itself; it's also the wonderful people that work at Manny's that makes it such a great dining experience. Great food and customer service - and its been that way for Manny" years! Yum.
