General Info

My name Is Michelle Sanderson but many people call me Emjay. I am the founder of EmjayMichelle Images. I get my inspiration from my Aunt Beverly who I grew up watching and also from my father Cass Johnson. I decided young photography was a passion of mine with out a doubt. I use studio lighting, back drops everything, and often very natural scenes. When I am out on a photo session it is never stressful always relaxed. I like to give my clients the chance to tell me exactly what they want before we begin that is why I have an initial consultation. Whether it is over the phone, in their home , or out to coffee. I like my clientele to feel as comfortable around me as possible, I am not there to judge. I am a student at University of Phoenix and a Stay at home mom most of the time.I have taken my passion and turned it into something Beautiful and useful.I specialize in fun, relaxed and creative photography in Cheyenne, WY and Northern Colorado. I do not just specialized in one area, but multiple. If you can think it up it can probably be done! Sessions are relaxed and fun, I'm glad to try any ideas and family groupings you desire, and I make sure you are happy before the session is complete.My style is different than what you would find in most studios. I use a photojournalist style of photography. I'm not just there to take posed shots, but I typically take over 150 shots in a sitting trying to capture many different poses and to get the best moments, memories, and expressions. My favorite shots are those that don't look posed. Using this method I can usually get great shots of the shy, hesitant, grumpy, and non-photogenic individuals.As a photographer running my own small business local to Cheyenne, WY I'm able to offer a level of personal service you won't get from a large corporate studio. My business relies on the reviews, feedback and recommendations of my clients and I always try to do what it takes to make them happy
