they're great with helping you find what you need and showing you around. they aren't too pushy or anything. delivery time isn't too bad either. i searched websites and compared prices and found that for the money Value City beat out havertys, and haynes... we got the most COMFORTABLE COUCHES EVER!! The only thing I didn't like is, when we got the couches delivered (by their very friendly and accomadating delivery men) one of them was "broken" and it took the customer service reps FOREVER to get back to me, they pretty much just let me go 5 days without hearing from them, and then made it seem like a hassle when I called them. But hey I paid almost$3000 for my furniture, and want it fixed. I was polite the whole time, I'm not one of those crazy nagging people... but the associate pretty much forgot about me, and never called me back... other then that! I would definitely go back. I think I'm going to go back for a bedroom set in a few months. I suggest you look online to get an idea of what you want, and then walk the floor... the associates may not be able to answer every single little answer but they can tell you where to find it, or find someone who will. They usually have nice sales too! Combining pieces and reducing prices... Check it out!!!
My personal experience with Esprit Décor has been nothing but positive, professional, friendly and accommodating. Customer service is not only top-of-the-line, but Mark, the representative, has gone above and beyond to provide exceptional service. In my first attempt to “build my own” dining room chairs, he has guided me through the selection of fabric, based on the type of chair I’ve selected (after considering at least 400 styles!) and colors in my dining room. He has offered his expertise without me feeling rushed or that he is just out to make a sale ~ it is evident that he genuinely wants to satisfy his customers. To be honest, I am not sure I would have as much patience with me as Mark has demonstrated because I have changed my mind several times over the last couple of weeks. We all know of furniture store sales personnel that only have patience with customers if the sale is a sure deal and it’s quick since they work on commission and time is money. Although this is my first experience, I would highly recommend Esprit Décor to my friends and family and I will definitely be a repeat customer without hesitation.
i can't believe all these reviews are negitive! everytime i go in the employees treat me with nothing but respect and cater to my every need.. when i bring in my items to sell they give me full explanations on why they weren't able to buy anything from me and do it in a very friendly way. they have a great selection and are much better than the other plato's i've been to for sure!! the employees are all sweethearts and you can tell they earn every dollar get! you wouldn't be able to pay me enough to go through everyones junk lol. definitely a permanent customer :)
