Fresh Chow

Unlike the unhelpful reviews attacking this business, I find fresh chow adequate. They are not the best and the quality has gone down since they opened. If you want specialty or high end food do not come here, go into Boston. The staff however has always been pleasant, helpful, and the service very quick. The food is fresh and I have found them to be accomadating if you speak nicely to them and do not insult their culture by making fun of their language or the way they speak. They have always honoured coupons when I have used them, even one that was out of date. Prices at every restaurant I have eaten at within the last two years have raised their prices because their costs have increased. The food and prices are midline. I don't think that they give any indication or pretense that it is otherwise.

Hope this is more helpful than the other reviews.

This place is flat out disgusting. I think they use dish water as a soup base.

I ordered a selection from the menu and specified "NO FUNGUS" and there were mushrooms in the food...



Cut out a coupon that said "free up to $5" when you spend over $20 from the menu and specified utilization of the coupon when the take out order was placed for free chicken fingers...



Handed the illeterate woman at the counter the coupon when I picked up the food and questioned the cost as it was higher than my round up estimate directly from the menu. I specifically asked if the coupon was used and was told "no charge chicken finga."



When I got home I recalculated the cost right from the menu and found that I was overcharged in excess of $6.50 for food that gave me indigestion and was not prepared as requested.



I called Fresh Chow which bye they way, doesn't taste very fresh to let them know I was overcharged and unsatisfied with the food preparation. The illeterate woman answered the phone and I had to explain my dissatisfaction three times only to be told that the prices on the menu went up back in May of 2008 and then menu hasn't been changed.



Quick Review: Fresh Chow is not so fresh, prepares what they want, not what is ordered, has creative fluctuating pricing, and does not honor their own coupons! I'd rather eat in any day of week...
