HORRIBLE! Live less than a mile out of town, Unfortunately the cable isp in town stops about 100 yards short of our house, so Windstream is the only option we have. Frequent outages, only about 4-500 kbps on average. Trying to watch streaming video is an exercise in futility. Tech support is a joke. especially the level 1 techs. Only about 1 in 10 has any clue whatsoever. All they know is to tell you to restart your router, computer...etc. Like i haven't done that 20 freakin times already before i called. They refuse to upgrade the wiring, and oversell what bandwidth they do have. I did research, and this is not an issue just in our area, but pretty much everywhere they operate. They have been telling me that they are "working on upgrading the system" It's been 2 years...Calling BS on that one. I am basically paying $50 a month for dial up speeds (when it works at all). Also have issue with frequent disconnects. Logs me out of PSN all the time. Makes online gaming impossible. Wish I could give negative stars. As soon as another viable option in my area becomes available, we will be ditching them immediately. Avoid at all costs if you have any other option.
