Fillings
In our practice, we have seen a lot of problems that occur beneath these old silver amalgam fillings. Usually, these problems are not easily seen from the surface of the tooth or with X-Rays and are primarily caused by decay getting below the fillings and cracks in the teeth.
Resin Composite
Inlays and Onlays can be porcelain, gold, or composite resin and are bonded to the damaged area of a tooth. An inlay is similar to a filling and lies inside the tooth; an Onlay is larger and sits on top of parts of a tooth.
Veneers
Porcelain dental veneers before and after images are of a patient or patients who have undergone the same treatment with phenomenal results. The photos were taken before the procedure and after the procedure once the veneers treatment has been completed. Bridges

Dental Bonding
If so, bonding may be a suitable solution for you. Tooth bonding is a tooth-colored resin material, which is bonded to the tooth using a high-intensity curing light. We use bonding to improve the cosmetic appearance of a chipped or discolored tooth. We also use it to close spaces between teeth, to change the shape or color of teeth, or to make teeth look longer. Bonding can be used to protect a portion of the tooth’s root that has been exposed due to receding gums.
Restorative Dentistry
Preventative or Preventive dentistry, as the name suggests, is aimed towards preventing problems from occurring to minimize the need for restorative dentistry in the future. This is the best way to protect teeth and reduce dental costs. A root canal is an endodontic procedure that removes the infected inner pulp of the tooth to relieve pain, treat an abscessed tooth, and allow the damaged tooth to be saved.

Dentures

Oral Surgery

Tooth Extractions
Dr. McOmie is highly skilled at performing tooth extractions. Before pulling the tooth, we will give you an injection of a local anesthetic to numb the area where the extraction will be performed. Bone Grafting
Bone integration is natural and, depending on the type of graft you get, typically a pain-free process. Since bone structure lacks the same type of nerve endings as your teeth and gums, you can expect a fairly comfortable procedure and recovery. However, autogenous bone grafting where your own bone is used may involve a bit more invasive surgery to perform and thereby require a longer healing period.
