They cut my driveshaft down for me and balanced it, simple and cheap transaction.............................

Called for pricing info, would not do unless in person. Took driveshaft to company and after inspection, I was told they would have to get a special machine to do the job. They were still unable to get me an estimate for repairs. They did inform me that it would be the next day before they could get to it. I never received a call with pricing or any information. The following day, I called to check on my driveshaft right before close of business and was told it was ready but that they were closing. No discussion at all. When I arrived today I asked what they did to the driveshaft and why no one called for authorization for repairs. After paying the 136.00 (I had no choice if I wanted my part back) I left with the driveshaft. I feel this is unprofessional and this is no way to earn or keep business. I work around cars and customers daily and feel communication is key to customer satisfaction. I also feel that I had no opportunity to check around town for competitive pricing.
