Overall
Our property is 72 feet front ...

Our property is 72 feet front and back. Our plot is very straight and virtually a square with 90 degree angles. Absolute Fence Company was hired to build a fence within the property lines furnished and discussed by myself and their sales rep. I was told by him that "of course it will be inside the property lines and that you'll be very happy with your fence." We walked the lines and I specifically showed him where the survey markers were located on all four corners of our house as our builder staked them with a pink ribbon for us. We also spoke about the covenants and restrictions in reference to how far up the fence line could go along our house which was executed properly so it's evident that our conversation was noted by him and executed properly on that level by their crew. End result, 3 out of the four corners of the fence made it inside the survey lines. The fourth corner somehow encroaches about 2feet over onto the lot next to us. Our square house, which on their contract shows a square drawing with the back fence line at the correct 72 feet, is now a geometric angled shape yet, according to them, it's not their fault or problem to fix because we signed the contract and I didn't check their math. Guess I was too trusting in their abilities because every other sentence out of his mouth was how they were accredited by the BBB and always do the job right. Our builder who built our house, surveyed/marked our property lines and owns the lot where the encroachment is occurring informed us of this mess up a few days after we made final payment to Absolute Fence. I spoke with the owner about this on Thursday, June 30th. He said he'd go out there and look at it that next day (Friday) and call. He never called and we called the whole next week several times, spoke with the brother, left messages, and they finally answered a call from a different number and said they'd have it fixed by that Friday, July 8th. We called at 4:30, July 8th, got voicemail, the owner called back and said that they'd have to have some financial help to fix the fence after promising to have had it fixed that day, insinuated that it was the contractors fault and ultimately after we argued back and forth, said that he'd be out there no matter what that following Monday and it would be fixed. Monday, July 11th, the sales guy, who got back in town calls us back and tells us the only way they will fix it is if we agree to pay them $590. Our builder has spoken to the owner just as we have and they refuse to admit fault and fix the mistake and are ultimately blaming our builder for not making the property lines and saying since we signed their contract they did what they were supposed to do. I called the owner on a different number, got his voicemail, left messaging stating that if he didn't have it fixed by end-of-day today (July 12), we were seeking legal help as well as reporting him to the BBB and writing online reviews about our horrid experience. Their contract beyond this encroachment complaint is also incorrect based off what they wrote and what they actually executed. Not only did they encroach and mess up the property line, they overcharged us 2ft in by 62ft long!! This contract that they are clinging to as their reason for not fixing their mistake ultimately shows that they messed up and mis-measured and are ripping us off! This is being handled with the BBB currently and we have retained legal help so that we can get our fence off the our builders property line. Thankfully, our builder who is now almost done building the house on his lot where this fence is encroaching upon is understanding! This is our experience thus far with Absolute Fence Company.

Showed up when they promised- shocking!

Did the job they promised-definitely shocking.

Did not destroy any of my property - most definitely seriously absolutely shocking! (no pun intended)

A great group of hard working, dedicated guys who fenced in an acre of mountain property with gusto and good grace. They even difused a situation which had Hatfield-McCoy potential!
