Long Hill Chapel

What a special school. We were so lucky to have both our children enrolled in LHCP over the last 5 years. The teachers are dedicated to nurturing the whole child - and give so much of themselves to make the preschool the special place that it is. Classroom activities are inventive and engaging--- providing an excellent forum for the children to develop fine motor skills - all while having a ton of fun :-) Teachers are so accessible and take such an interest in any issues that may arise during the school year... their nurturing spirit is genuine and it's especially evidenced when they need to partner with parents to help children through a more difficult stage. We feel so blessed to have been able to send our children to Long Hill!

As someone who has recently moved to the area, I feel so lucky to have found this school for my three children. It is a truly wonderful place, where my children are excited to go each morning. The teachers are amazing, to say the least. The classes (3’s and 4’s) are appropriately academic, and also incredibly fun and creative. The teachers make every day so much fun and make every child feel like an important part of the classroom experience.

I am also very pleased with the concern the administration has shown for security. The doors are always locked and the teachers and staff are vigilant about this issue.

Also, my son has a severe peanut allergy (requiring an epi pen) and the school has been super easy to work with on this issue, which is a huge relief.

In addition to the regular school days, there are always a ton of fun activities going on, Soccer, Harvest Festival, Movie Nights, Christmas Concert, Circus, Farm Visits and Field Trips, to name some. The Lunch Bunch program is also fantastic, my kids LOVE lunch bunch, days, as do I!

Overall, just a great preschool experience!! I would recommend Long Hill to anyone with preschool-aged children.

- Parent involvement - many volunteer opportunities though no pressure at all to participate

- Playground extras - playground open (even for young siblings) after school to foster gross motor skills and social relationships for both children and parents

- Extracurriculars – after-school soccer program by professional coaches

- Caring, Christian atmosphere – children learn about/read/apply lessons from the Bible as the school strives to help create a ‘Godly Character’ in each child!



I feel blessed to have found this school for my daughter and I look forward to many more years at LHCP as my younger son starts preschool in the fall.
