Total Wine always has knowledgeable people working there who can steer you to any wine to match any occassion. They can suggest the best wine in a price range you call. The manager came up to me one day when I had a basket with several bottles of Bella Serra Pinot Grigio for a party. The manager stopped me and told me he had a Pinot that was as good as, if not better, and it cost less! He talked me into exchanging 1 bottle for the Conte Priola Pinot Grigio, I have been sold on it every since. They are friendly, helpful, and just nice. They have such a variety, too! I will go out of my way to go there!
This has got to be the quentessential local wine and beer store. The selection is fantastic, prices excellent and Michael Brawley alone makes it worth your while. His recommendations on wine are always on target and if you are interested, he takes the time to give you the full description of the wine (region, grape, etc.), and has never treated me like the rookie wine connoisseur that I am. It is a fun place to shop and I highly recommend it!
I would say this is an overpriced Ryan's Steakhouse. Like any bargain bin steakhouse, the only thing that was good was the ROLLS! We waited past our resevation time (the buzzer was broke). The meats were disappointing, chewy and over seasoned. For the money that we spent, almost any other place would have been better.
