I've never had pizza like this before from NC. My husband who is from NJ tells me this is authentic NY pizza. I love it and don't go to papa Johns or dominos or Pizza hut anymore. This is the best pizza. I am a dough person and this hits the spot. Not too much and not too little. large pizzas compared to the national pizza chains. I also enjoy their wings and cheese steaks. not used to the NY attitude and service but they are super fast and get it right the first time. Always a line on evenings and weekends! Guess why!?

I have traveled to over 30 states for work and always tried a pie in each one to see what they have to offer. Every time I tried one I compared it to Tony's and I would still pick Tony's over them all. It's the first place my wife's family wants to go when they are in from up north and always take some home to the others that didn't come down. The Inside isn't anything fancy so I'll give you that ...but when I think of a nice upscale dinner I don't think of pizza ...so paper plates don't bother me and the paper towels on a roll beat the tiny little ones you'll get from other places that don't work. Oh and the large..forget about it....Keep up the good work!

Like many folks it seems, I relocated here from up north (New Jersey) and have lived here for a little over a year. The one thing that I really missed from ""home"" was good pizza. I would have never given Tony's a chance but in passing by stopped there one day for a slice. I have to say....this was the best pizza I've had in a very, VERY long time. I would even venture to say as good as many pizzerias in NY and NJ. I have not steered away from the plain pie so I can't speak for the rest of what they have to offer, but man is their pizza good!! I also can't vouch for their toppings as I am a plain pizza type. Here's a tip...until you see the size of their ""large"" pie, I wouldn't recommend ordering it. They don't have a pizza box large enough to contain such a thing and they folded over the edges when I ordered it that way once. Their ""medium"" is what most of us would consider a large pie!

I was so excited to get a northern pizza --- when trying a new pizza place I always get a plain cheese to get the base flavor and I found this to be blah. I heard rave reviews about tony's but I guess this is the wrong one. It was over crowded, not a clean table in the place and the restroom was nasty.
The pizza had very little flavor and was under cooked. Sub Corral in Belmont or any Portofinos makes a much better pizza

I happened to come across Tony's by accident when I first relocated to the area. I have to tell you I haven't found a better place. I have not had any pizza as good as Tony's. If I don't stop on my way home to pick up a pie I will travel the 25 minutes from my house. It reminds me of a real Italian pizza. The crust is thin, the sauce is marvelous (not thick or heavily tomatoed), and they only use fresh ingredientsf or toppings. Whenever we have folks in town you can be sure we head down to Tony's. Magnifico!

I won't get pizza anywhere else- not on purpose anyway. Their spaghetti sauce is wonderful. Lived here for 12 years from up north and finally found the right pizza. I just went on a trip to NYC, and Tony's could battle with the best of them. Nice staff. Clean place, quality food.

Tony's Pizza is a small firendly local establishment that serves true authentic Italian dishes. All food is made to order quickly and to the same quality everytime. The Calzones and Lasagna have become favorites of our family but Tony's does serve excellent hand tosed pizzas.
